Hi girls! How are y'all?

Just popping in to say hi! I saw Chitty twice today. I didn't mean to go twice but it just happened. The matinee was with Julie Tolivar and Raul. I thought Julie T. was dreadful but Raul could not have been cuter and more goofy. I tried to hide in the audience because I didn't want him to see me at the show again. I don't know why. That didn't work out, though. I ended up getting a rush seat in the middle of a bunch of empty rows. So I stood out like a sore thumb. Oh well. He didn't notice me until "Toot Sweets". During "Me Ole Bamboo" he kept making faces and me and cute smiles. THEN... right before the title song when they get ready to go on a picnic he looked at me and said... "Is that boysenberry jam?". How funny is that?? So now I'm glad that he saw me in the audience. I could not stop laughing when he said that. I'm so glad that he liked the jam that much. Haha.

Then my friend and I decided to see the evening show as well so that we could see Ellen's real last show. It was Julie Tolivar and Rick Hilsabeck. AHHH. That was awful. I NEVER want to see anyone but Raul again. I ended up ducking down and plugging my ears for most of the show. Ugh. But it was okay. We ended up sitting behind Ellen's whole family. Ellen was in tears and her family was in tears... so I was in tears. I'm a sap. I'll miss Ellen, though.

Anyway, I have to go! Enough rambling for me.

Aw, that's so awesome that he recognized you from out in the audience! And the jam! Ah, that's so funny! Now I want to bring him something interesting and funny to make him remember me. But not jam, I don't want to steal your thing.

And it's so sad Ellen had to leave! Especially since the show's closing anyway, you'd think they could have just waited it out another month.

Wait. Wait.

Ellen LEFT?

That's...ohhhh my god. SO sad. If I could cry...

Anyway, great that he noticed you all that time! I think the boysenberry jam crack was great, though.

When I'm getting rid of a cold, I always feel worse at night.

My roommate is smashed. Well, now she's coming off of her drunken-ness. She's kind of mopey, and I'm afraid she's going to throw up, or something. She's laying in my reaaaaally expensive chair right now, and my parents will have what to say if anything happens to that chair, which worries me, but I'm also not sure what to do. I told her I was thinking about going to sleep, and asked if she was okay, but she said she was fine. I'm afraid to leave her, but I'd like very much to go to sleep; I'm tired, I don't feel well, and I just want tonight to be OVER.

ohhhh. we loooove the drunken roommate. see if you can't at least get her away from your chair!!

another subject change, and one that will excite Chrys, I know. I won the first season of CSI in a raffle this weekend, and just finished watching it...who was the murderer in the last episode...none other than our very own Mr. Cerveris!! I nearly died. I was too excited. Haha. If Raúl ever ended up in an episode of something...I honestly don't know what I'd do!!

I can't believe Ellen's not staying! I mean, there's only a month left!! I would have thought she'd stay for sure. I'm sad I missed her last show. (Though not sad to have missed Rick...he's a sweetie, but just not Raúl!) Wait...is Chip still in the show...didn't someone say he was leaving, or am I just totally insane?

Well, she's out of the chair. Now she's at her computer, very, very mellow. A few minutes ago, she was like "I'm going to feel so awful tomorrow," so I suggested she get some sleep. Her reply? "no!" hmm.

You know what's weird? Like every B'way actor has been on L&O, or some show like that. Raul's never done TV, as far as I know. Or any TV worth noting, anyway.

Chip's last show was supposed to be the day after we all went together, right? a complex fellow

Kooks! You are awesome! Did you know he was the killer early on? I haven't seen it yet. Pretty much all I did this past summer was watch television, and they played that episode over and over. Everyone kept emailing me saying they had seen it x amount of times. Alas, I never caught it on tv! Michael once said that he always get those roles (serial killers, mail men, etc) becuase "aparantly, they are all bald".

<-----I heart him.

If he and Raul ever do a show together, I would be the happiest woman alive. And if he and Raul ever did a show together with ME...I'd be the happiest woman who was once alive, but had a heart attack due to too much excitement.

ETA: Still not in bed, I'm so screwed tomorrow. Ah, well. Lecture = nap time!!

Yeah, Chip and Ellen are both gone. Chip is coming back in early December, though. He's just on leave to make a movie.

They aren't going to hire a new girl to play Jemima. So they are just going to alternate the understudies. Janelle (my favorite!) is going on for three weeks starting on Wednesday. Then Jaclyn for three weeks then Gabby for two. I will miss Ellen, though. I was talking to her between shows and she was telling me how she's "quite close" to Raul and that they are going to keep in touch.

I wonder if he got her a gift or something. He didn't go to her farewell party.

Anyway, I'm leaving Columbia today. I'll be in Times Square for the rest of the week. I'm not sure if I will have internet.

Oh, good! I looooove Chip. I thought he was gone for good, and that made me sad!

How was her last show with Raul, if they're so close? I bet it was cute. But he should've gone to the party! Bad Raul.

I'll call you later. a complex fellow

It was REALLY sweet. He gave her lots of kisses and hugs. During "Hushabye Mountain" they just squeezed each other. Right before the title song when Caractacus says "So, what do you think?" and the kids give him a hug - Raul squeezed both of the kids and then rolled around on the floor with them. Hmm. Well, it was cute on stage but hard to put into words. After the boisenberry comment I think I laughed for a good thirty minutes and stopped paying attention. But at curtain call Raul got run over by Chitty. Then proceeded to shake his finger at her. Then he and Ellen danced around the stage. That's pretty much it. She didn't cry until the evening show. That must have been hard for her to perform her last show without Raul or Erin there.

Okay! That sounds good. I'm just killing time right now. I have a little over an hour until I have to stop being lazy.

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. I just melted a little! He really needs a child.

I'm sitting here reading over and over "Raul got run over by Chitty," and just thinking "well, I never thought I'd see THAT." Re-affirms how weird it is that he's flying a car every night. Maybe Chitty has a crush on him. a complex fellow

I should be working. But I'm still in bed. *slacks*

He certainly DOES need a child. I don't think he ever will have one, though. :/

It was really funny. He was standing too far back on the stage so when Chitty takes a bow the car hit his butt and pushed him forward. He looked very confused. I think you are right, though. The car was obviously flirting! Lucky car.

Oooh bed sounds nice. I woke up too early this morning.

Probably not. He has enough on his plate.

I was going to say, the way it's set up, she probably did smack him in the ass. Obviously, she loves him.

Someone came to fix my shower at ten, but I went back to sleep til 11:30 and have been moping around in my PJ's ever since.
