and, i love you all. this thread has totally made my night. i just had to deal with a resident for the last 4 hours who we think may have smoked some tree that was laced with something...she's now in the hospital, and i have been fielding rumors from the floor as well as a few phone calls from parents. fun times there.

sack of lemons!! and when i read about the lemon jelly...wow. WOW. hehe. i would laugh SOoooooooo hard if you gave that to him! Ang, you'd be my hero for LIFE.

i think she'll be alright...they're keeping her for a while to run tests, and she was pretty out of it (she was like, passing out in the bathroom) so hopefully all will be fine at the end of the day. ah, the joys of being an RA.

but i'm gonna watch me some Chitty to make it all better! :)

yaaaay, Chitty!

I just transcribed about half of the interview -- it's incredibly tedious, to sort of weed out the things that are strictly conversational, etc. It took me an hour and a half to tackle about 20 minutes of spoken material. eesh! I really hope they can use all of this stuff, because it's fascinating.

NYU grad students are stiking and they teach over half my classes. SO...no class today, or well, until they reslove this. I kinda hope it's soon because I want an actual grade and not just a satisfactory/unsatisfactory. That's not fair, and it isn't our fault. I have some of my classes held off-campus at the grad student's appartment, but it's a long walk, so...

And yes, Raúl has very nice legs, especially when he wears yellow fishnets.

I wish someone would go on strike at my school. The last time that happened here was in 1999.

I'm so horrible. I woke up earlier this morning for class looked out the window and it was pouring. 3 hours of sleep + rain + a mile walk to class = not happening.

So yeah. And I'm already have to miss a class this afternoon for an advising appointment, so now I just feel lazy. :/

niiice. i love missing class. it's one of my favorite pasttimes. i slept through my english class this morning because i was just too exhausted to physically get out of bed. but now i don't have class until 6:30 so i fully plan on sleeping. right now.
