Morning ladies! It's so funny, because I have Normal Heart open on my desk. I was reading it last night. Coincidence?

Good morning, Ang!

I've been running around tryijng to find a copy of TNH to buy, because I borrowed it from the library, but now that I'm doing this project, I'm going to need to own it. I'd like to buy it used, if possible, because my funds are not unlimited, unfortunately. a complex fellow

Alix, you are going to love it!

I haven't read it in a while, actually.

I just keep checking it out of the library. My school's library is this 8-floor monstrosity, but I could find The Normal Heart's shelf in my sleep.

I should check my library, since it has lots of really old books. Maybe they have an edition like Allie managed to find!

Ugh, I wish I could just... turn off the main board or something. I'm going to read too many reviews of Rent, and I'd rather not!

I'm too curious not tooooo!

Ugh. I woke up at like four this morning and for some reason I thought it was Friday morning. I guess subconsciously, I am excited. I couldn't fall asleep again for a while.

I can't wait to hear what local people think of it. The student paper does reviews and such, and there's a weekly "alternative" paper that's really good, too.

The board is going to be CRAZY very, very soon, I think.

I have a friend studying in France this year, and she's coming home for Christmas on Dec. 19. She's very concerned that she's going to miss Rent altogether, since it doesn't open in France until April, and she leaves for good in March. I think it'll still be playing (at least in the 17 cinema place in the city here!). I just found out about a German production of Rent playing in Frankfurt later this month. She'll be very excited. The only Rent she knows is the odd song I've played for her.

oooooh, crazy is right.

It should still be playing then; it's not even four weeks after the release.

I told her I'd roadtrip back to the city with her to see the movie, if it's not still playing at home! Heh, we might have to take my little brother, though. I did promise him I'd see it with him!

These two weeks are going to crawl by, I just know it.

My brother wants to see it with me. I told him I would, but I don't know when that'll be. I'm not actually going home for Thanksgiving, but rather to visit family in the opposite direction of home, so I may have to hope it's still playing when I go home for winter break, or something. I feel bad, but he can't come with me on Friday because he's only sixteen, and you've got to be eighteen.

Aww I'm visiting a friend in DC/West Virgina on Dec 27thish, I was planning on taking her to the movie, hope it's still playing then...

The more times, the merrier, right? Except for your bank account.

Is the Friday screening in the evening? Do you have classes that day, being that it's Veterans Day?

Well, I'll probably see it with him at home, where it's like four dollars cheaper.

I don't have classes on Fridays anyway, so I have no idea if there's school that day. I think there is, but it doesn't matter. It's at night, either way. a complex fellow

Ugh, I love how instead of updating the blog around noon EST like they usually do, they do the really good one at 1pm! Grr.

On the plus side, I learned today that my shift covers naptime and snacktime. I had a rather good daydream about our thread's patron saint.
