Oh, I wasn't blaming you for getting a little dirty. It would be a miracle to keep this thread clean.

Ok, my mind is telling me I must see Pride and Prejudice again. Tonight. And nobody, I mean NOBODY will come with me. So sad...where did all the romantics go? (Anyone in the city wanna go with me?)

I'm dying to see that movie! But, sadly, I'm in Tennessee this week.

Oh my god. You people are craaaaazy! That was just about the funniest 5 minutes of reading of my life!

Okay, I need an honest answer, guys. On a loser scale of 1 to 10, with one being most loser-like, where would you rank a person who spent her Saturday afternoon putting together the little working car from the Chitty program? Not that I...did that...or anything. a complex fellow

I refuse to put that car together. It's my way of getting back at the company for making a cardboard Caractacus that in no way resembles Raúl.
#8032

a complex fellow

hahaha, Elphie, I love you!

Cardboard Caractacus hurts my brain.

Elphie, I think I win on the loser scale. I spent the afternoon trying to find a real person to talk to on the airline customer service number to ask how I should pack up my goldfish for my flight home next week. At least you had a fun toy to play with in the end.

Yeah, we really do need to give the Raúl thread a scrub-down from time to time to keep it clean. *blocks inevitable dirty mental image*

Why don't we give Raúl a scrub down instead?

Oh, lord. a complex fellow

I didn't even finish! It's so complicated. And I agree, it's very upsetting that that little guy doesn't look like Raul in the least.

Lord. I'd like to say I wouldn't mind if he did, but some days...yikes!

I bet he sits at his computer and laughs at us. Hysterically. Then he runs away. And cries.

That's not a very comforting thought. Eeep.

But I'm sure he loves us, really! We're all very lovable people. a complex fellow

Did you guys know Raul was married? Gee...

Anyway, mmmm, chocolate chip cookies.

Because...because...I dunno. *shrug* If we ignore it, it will go away.

I don't think it's a big deal. He's married. It's not something he tries to hide. They go to events together. She's seen with him in public. It's personal, but he's in the business. People are curious. I was at one time, and asked somebody. Why does it matter? I don't know? Should it? No. Does it really? I don't think it does. I don't think of him any differently. First and formost, he's a talented performer who can take on any Raul.

And if Raul reads this thread, I hope he's got a since of humor.

ETA: I should edit that, but it is just to funny! That was supposed to say "First and formost, he's a telented performer who can take on any ROLE." Not, Raul. I'm just so used to typing his name...

My problem wasn't the original question. My problem was with the direction the thread progressed in from that. It's just a pet peeve of mine, the whole "Why are all the 'good guys' gay or taken?" complaint. Judging the dateability of Broadway actors is just begs for rumors to be started.

At least keep discussions of this nature in PMs.
