I guess if I rent a car, I can't spend my spring break smashed like the rest of my school will.
I just looked into my fishtank and remembered that my goldfish is back home with my parents now. I feel so lonely.

I brought him home this time because I wouldn't have been able to feed him for almost a week for this break. And I was going to bring him home for Christmas break anyway, but since I'll be taking so much stuff home then, it was just easier to do it this time.
I'm not going to see him for almost 3 weeks. It's the longest we've ever been apart.

Posted: 11/27/05 at 2:47pmI need to figure out how to get a ride from here in Pittsburgh to Cincinatti...

I have no clue if there IS one to Cincinatti.
There's Greyhound... blech.

His name is Sparky.
Don't diss Greyhound. It's cheaper and you get there much faster than you would on a train.

There's creepy people on Greyhound.
I haven't had the greatest experiences on Greyhound.

I tend to have bad travel experiences regardless of the mode of transport. Case in point: I flew into Syracuse at 8am today and discovered that my suitcase had been left in DC.
We won't get into the business man that decided to play drums on the tray table attached to the back of my seat for the whole flight.
But I did sit next to a hot guy who's an engineering student at Cornell.

Posted: 11/27/05 at 3:19pmI sat next to a hot guy on a plane once. But I was with my brother, who was acting like a jerk.

Posted: 11/27/05 at 3:26pmI was happy, it was like karma. I always tend to end up sitting next to the older men. Not Raúl "old", like Philip Bosco old.

Thank you for that frame of reference.

Posted: 11/27/05 at 3:33pmHeh, yeah. I felt I should at least mention the official topic. But you know, sometimes college-aged people tend to consider middle-aged to be old, so I just wanted to clarify the age group I actually meant.

Heh, both my sisters went to Cornell personally from my experiences there I think hot guys are certainly a minority...
but I was thinking about it, lots of times even when I drive in w/ my family, as long as it's a city, the cheapest and best way to get around usually tends to be some kind of subway/metro, no? All in all I think it ends up being much cheaper than renting a car and if worse comes to worse and you need to go/get somewhere too far from a subway like the airport or something you could take a cab. Then again I don't know about Cincinatti's subway system or how utilized it is...
I love how I'm helping everyone plan, meanwhile even if I had a spring break like everyone else's I'd prob go somewhere that's not Cincinatti, and well I don't, I'm pretty sure mine is the 2nd week in April...stupid...hrmph.

Posted: 11/27/05 at 3:53pmI don't think Raúl is old! I said some college people, some people are stupid like that. And I originally put quotes around it because he's always saying how he's getting too old for parts. He looked damn good last week, so I don't know what he's talking about.

BTW, I don't know if you guys know about this or not, I found out about them like a month ago and meant to post about it, I just never got around to watching some and forgot but finally made it through the DRS video this week and am about to start another...

These are panels conducted by the American Theatre Wing at Cuny Univ, usually about production or certain shows or composers or performers. It's really interesting, and if you go down the list I believe Raul is on...1, maybe 2? of the panels? Enjoy!
