I want to try to do something too, like lighting a candle or something. But, I'll be at my mom's opening night for her Christmas show, alas.
My Home Ec. teacher has red ribbons--maybe I could get one before school and pin it on if I can after P.E. (1st per.)?
Wow, I'm majorly out of the loop. I had no idea World AIDS day is tomorrow. hmmmm....
I'm sorry, g.

I suppose a candle is all I can do. I'll be on a plane for a long time tomorrow and by the time I get to Columbia it will already be night.
I want to do something big, and meaningful next year.
You'll be at Columbia tomorrow?
Call me!

I will! I'll be there through Monday night.
I will call you, for sure. And if I don't - call me. Haha. I tend to forget things.
yay, okay! I need someone to go see Rent with at some point, so if you're interested, you're coming with me.

Oh oh oh! My friend Gretchen (I think you met her. Before In My Life) and I were thinking of going on Friday. Sometime in the afternoon-ish. Do you want to come?

Yay! That will be fun!
You know, we are rushing Chitty that night. You can come with us there, too, if you want...
Hahaa.

I want to do something in my school for World AIDS Day, but I don't know what.
Maybe tomorrow I'll start reading TNH. Now that it' sitting on my shelf, it's inexcusable for it to be sitting there. Silly school taking up time.

*digs around for her red ribbon and Until there's a cure bracelet*
I'm going to be super busy tomorrow. *sigh* I'm singing "The Worst Pies in London" for music major seminar in front of the whole music department. Whoopie. Then I have choir and rehearsal for musical theatre workshop, which is friday. I'm singing two different Sondheim songs in two days. AAAAAAAAAH!
Last year, I was able to go see the benefit concert of Pippin (even though Raul sadly had to drop out of the show!), so I felt as though I helped in some way. But this year, I CAN'T even go to The Secret Garden Concert. I wish I had some money so I could at least make a donation.
I've been looking for one of the red bracelets; where'd you get yours?

I've donated to BC/EFA and Friends In Deed recently. That will have to be enough. I just can't afford to give any more.
I got a really sweet (yet generic) thank-you letter from Friends In Deed the other day.

Me too! I was so excited because it came to my house in Tennessee. So it was a great way to remember that night.

I have a silver plated Until there's a cure bracelet. It came from the Virgin megastore in Times Square about three years ago. You can also order them online. They now have really fun colors.
I have my little red ribbon. They were handing them out right outside the dining hall in my building the other day. On the other side of the lobby was a table set up for a blood drive. It was...interesting.
Oh, I know which one you're talking about, Chrys.
Aren't there also those ones made of that jelly-like stuff, in all different colors, with silver clasps?
I used to have a red ribbon on my coat, but it fell off, and I replaced it like 4987349837 times. Now I have a BC/EFA pin on my bag.
