aww yaay for everyone's weekends!

I'll be in the city tomorrow night for Seth's Chatterbox(Sara Gettelfinger, Will Chase and Max Von Essen-anyone is welcome to join me!), and Chita(ahhh, I'm a WSS fanatic) and Sunday w/ my mom for the last performance of Naked Girl on the Appian Way. I'll probably miss you all in the days in between but everyone have a blast!

I'll be in the city too! Not that I don't already live here, but everyone was so excited...

So, if anyone hates going anywhere alone, then I'm here and usually available.

Random: I leave my TV on as background noise sometimes, and I happen to have Days of Our Lives on -- don't laugh!

Anyway, Billy Warlock is on right now. Nice surprise, but seeing him breaks my heart.

He was on General Hospital for forever, but they killed him off last year. He played a manipulative jackass and since that's the only role I've seen him in, I'm not sure how I would react to him in The Normal Heart.

haha, so he's just bounced from one to the other!

He's really quite attractive.

Not that Felix isn't something of a jackass to start out with, but he was a good fit for the part. And he and Raul were on FIRE.

Hey skittles, AJ was *not* a jackass, particularly when Billy first took over the character, the writing was just awful. He was played by many actors and was always the "screw-up" seeking redemption and well you couldn't help b ut root for him, when Billy first took over the role he was in AA and getting to be sober, then Carly manipulated him, and yeah, just everytime you know it's in his character to redeem himself, and occassionally he does, stupid writers who don't get the character write him awfully. Ulgh. I used to love GH if you can't tell, but haven't been able to watch since '97...the destruction of Sonny and Brenda a complex fellow

Ona nother note, was the Days episode recent Em? He used to be on DOOL before GH, I didn't realize he went back, i'm assuming it wasn't a highlights/flashback episode, though it is their 40th anniv...

yup new episode...oh yeah Kyle from the Real World is on this...weird....

But if you think regular soaps like Days are bad, keep NBC on and watch Passions in the background...weirdest show/soap ever but addicting when you first watch...I was addicted for like a year, I kept saying this is the stupidest show ever and I swear it took 2 months for a day to go by and like it moved so slow nothing ever happened but I could not not watch it everyday at 2...then I did, I think they recasted too much or something and I was proud...but yeah...guess it's kind of addictive in an In My Life type way

AJ might have been mildly redeeming years ago, I started watching around 1998 and he's definitely devolved into a jackass. He kidnapped Michael last year and brainwashed him into hating Sonny and Carly. Not to mention pretending he loved Sonny's sister and marrying her for the sole purpose of bribing Sonny into letting him have custody of Michael (which didn't work). So then he tried to cover up the fact that his marriage was a sham by stalking his wife to try to convince her to look to him for protection. But when it drives her into Jason's arms instead, he makes it seem like it's her fault.

Um, sorry. I really don't watch soap operas anymore, but my mom used to always watch the ABC soaps, so I followed them for awhile. I still check them out from time to time just to see what's going on, but I don't watch every day like I used to.

And yes, Passions is the most god-awful acting/writing in the history of television, but it definitely has camp-appeal.

Speaking of Real World, remember Danny from New Orleans? He's speaking at my school tonight and I'm going to check it out.

*sigh* Oh, it's stupid, but I'm sad. So, I had invited a couple of friends over for Shabbes dinner tomorrow night, since my birthday is on Saturday. They were two friends I hadn't seen in forever, and they said they could come, so I was really excited. Then, they both just IMed me saying they were REALLY sorry, but they probably couldn't come. One's grandparents are really sick, so her aunt is coming down and she needs to have family time, and the other goes to a boarding school and randomly they decided to go to some college tomorrow night. So probably neither of them can come. I mean, I totally understand, and we will get together at a later date, but I'm still sad and disappointed.

Well, my youth group is having a lockin on Sat night and we are seeing Harry Potter in IMAX, so that will be fun, and they are getting me a cake, but it's a different group of friends; ones that I see at least three times a week. We are so Jewish it's scary sometimes. :-P The friends I invited are ones I never get to see, so we probably won't be able to get together for another few weeks.
Whatever. Everything happens for a reason, right?

Aww, I used to go to lockins all the time. So much fun!

Has anyone bought their tickets for Company yet? I'm thinking about going ahead and purchasing one becuase I want a really good seat. I've also been looking at airfare. So far, it is not gonna be cheap to fly to Cincinnati fron Newark. Over three hundred bucks! I also checked Amtrak. That seems to be the cheaper route actually with a ticket costing roughly 150 bucks, but it also take over seventeen hours to get to Cincinnati by train. BOO! Decisions, decisions.

I'm back.

To answer your question Emcee, Danny was in The Real World New Orleans season. He was gay and his boyfriend Paul was in the army, so the entire season, every time they showed Paul, his face had to be blurred out. They were spoke tonight mainly about their own stories and the issues of gays in the military and the "Don't ask, don't tell" policy.

It was really fun and interesting. The best part was in the beginning when he asked how many people watched The Real World and all these people cheered and he was like "Don't watch that crap, it'll rot your brain!"

That is seriously my new mantra. I sometimes repeat it several times a day.

On a happier note...yes, lock-ins are amazing! And, my neighbor had her baby yesterday morning! My sister and I went to visit her and the baby at the hospital today, and he is SO CUTE. He's so small and amazing and miraculous. I want a baby soo badly right now, I'm starting to scare myself! :-P

I am a comma freak.

For clarification: My new mantra is not that thing from the Real World, it's "everything happens for a reason." That may have been confusing.

Everyone always thinks I'm insane when I say I want a baby, but I really really do.

I most definately do not want a baby right now. But, if a certain broadway performer insisted I have his child, I'm not so sure I'd be able to turn him down....

Elphie, you should work in a daycare center or something. I do that and it's like you get to deal with all the fun parts of caring for children without having to go home with them at the end of the day.
