Is Raúl shocked to hear such impure thoughts?

I'm thinking I may want to see The Color Purple and Sweeny when I'm in NYC for New Years, but I don't know how long I would be able to stay. I'm just feeling guilty about seeing the same 3 shows over and over every time I go there.

Yes, he's shocked! a complex fellow

I tried to get TCP tickets for my parents for this weekend, but it was virtually sold out. I'm surprised.

Hmm, maybe I should plan ahead then.

See, this is why I tend to only go to shows with student discounts and rush ticketes!

I think they have rush, though.

Do they? I was trying to find the policies for all the different shows, but the Playbill.com page hasn't been updated in awhile.

I think they start selling them at noon -- front row.

That should tell you which shows have rush and things like that.

I would love to see The Color Purple. Sweeney is #1 on my list, though. I need to get my butt to that show.

Ah, thank you. I wonder how in-demand the rush tickets are. I'd rather not wait in the cold all morning again.

Crap, I just remembered I was going to see The Producers too. Grrr. Decisions.

I'm gonna try to get to Chitty one last time this week. I hope it works out, but my schedule is psychotic. Oh. Sweeney. I'm seeing it again this weekend. That will make number five! My best friend is coming up from Georgia, and I was like "We ARE seeing Sweeney. And you WILL like it." a complex fellow

Any idea's on what else I should take her to do? I figured we might make a stop at Life Cafe (love their nachos and butternut squash soup). She has no interest in seeing Chitty again. I know she's going to want to see WIW because she loves Michael Ball the way I love Michael and Raul. I think we are also going to see Almost, Maine. Which sounds very interesting. Plus, I am extremely curious to see how good of an actor Todd Cerveris is. I'd really like to take her to the Chatterbox, but I'm not so thrilled about next weeks guest. And it is going to be CRAAAAAAAZY.

If you see WIW you'll have to share your thoughts on it. I had tickets for its second preview but I ended up not going for some reason that I can't even remember now.

Have fun seeing Chitty again! It's so good right now because the cast is just like "Wheeee!". And hopefully if you do go, Raúl will be social and come out for you!

Wait, who's at the Chatterbox next week?

So here is a random question. When Raúl was at the Kennedy Center, okay, I know he didn't do both shows at once. But do you know which on he did first? And how much of a break he had between the two?

I'm curious because after watching Merrily last night and Sunday tongiht it just blows my mind how well he was able to change gears with his acting. Brilliance.
#9519

a complex fellow

I think Sunday... was first. Not sure how long the break was, though.

He mentioned that Company was playing there as well when he was there and his parents saw it for the first time. So they probably worked out all the shows schedules based on which actors would be in it.
