Actually, I was kind of sad they aren't opened to the idea of actually wearing it. It would make a great halloween costume! They could dress up as fairy triplets. And, I would give my right arm to see Michael McElroy and John Cariani wear it. Raul, Dennis and Michael can all pull it off. But John Cariani and Michael McElroy would just look absurd.
I don't think they have to completely sell out for SRO, but they should be pretty close. But I think they're $20 each.
Grr. Internet shopping is sucking for me. I bought something for my sister off eBay, but there's this whole debacle because the page didn't load and I accidentally paid the person twice, and Paypal isn't letting me cancel them.
AND I just got a notice from Amazon saying that my Rent book won't be shipped until FEBRUARY! *sobs* Everywhere else I look to order it doesn't have it in stock either
Yeah, I thought Rent SRO was well known. You stand in the back of the theatre, behind the wall/poles, the poles are set up for each individual stander to have a viewing space. I uhh...had friends seeing Rent one night and I saw a show that ended earlier so I went to the lobby to wait, and the doors were open so I just kinda walked in and stood in the SR area, it was fun! (someone let me know if I should edit/not announce this?) I'm prety sure they're good enough w/ SRO to let people buy them even if they're not sold out, even if they're like 70% full or so. I've had friends who got them after losing lotto.
Good point.
I prob could have found a seat but I didn't want to cause more commotion. I was very lucky/happy though, I walked in during what you own!

YAY!!! Way to go, Elphie! I remember that feeling. It was worse considering I only applied to one college. But, whatever. Yay!!!

Ugh, this strike is annoying me. You try to get to 79th street from good old Chinatown. My poor feet.
I wonder how this will affect the show attendence, especially something like Chitty. Hmm....

Apparently shows are going to continue as usual. And hopefully most of the Chitty audience is tourists who are staying in hotels within walking distance.
Ugh. How long is this strike going to last? It's annoying me and I'm not even there.
But if Chitty closes before I get there I will cry.
