I've tried to pull the old, "But we NEVER do anything together, and it would be fun, and Andy and Karen already think I'm coming and are really looking forward to it...' guilt trip with my mom, but to no avail. I wonder what outrageous price they'd charge me for a plane or train ticket there...

Plane tickets are OUTRAGEOUS. For some reason to fly to Cincinatti is more expensive than to fly to ANY other airport in Ohio. If you use expedia or something, it's better, though.

YAY! You're almost there! I wish travel plans weren't such a huge hassle.

Airfare IS expensive. And there aren't even any trains that would get me from here to there without it making more sense just to drive the whole way. Looks like I'm back to guilting...

Anyway, I just feel it necessary to state that Raul is amazing.

Ironically, I think for me to take a train there would be MORE expensive.

My dad has a zillion frequent flyer miles, though, so that's how we're getting there.

haha, yes. Amazing. If he weren't, I would not travel that many miles.

So, I am obviously a Raúl fan, otherwise why would I be posting, right? lol...But, I've been trying for 2 weeks to read the whole thread... I gave up somewhere around page 190. I've been ODing on Raúl for a while. ttB, RHS and Taboo have been on my ipod on repeat for a month... so, I want to come and share in the Love :)

Emcee - That is sooooo exciting! I want to go so badly, but I don't want to go alone cause I'm a chicken like that. I can go into NYC alone without a problem but traveling outside of my little bubble frightens me, lol. I have to convince my roommate she wants to go to Cinci...

In my excitement, I f'ed up the ticket thing and clicked for them to be held at the box office, which isn't a huge deal, but I'm going to call tomorrow and ask if I can change it. I feel like such a loser.

Pretty good. Mine are in the back, but they're almost right in the center. Besides, it has like 12 rows, so "back" is really relative.
