Have you ever noticed how Raul is sort of a difficult person to explain liking to people? I think that he's incredibly handsome, in a slightly unconventional way (which is part of the appeal) but other people are like, "Him? Really?" And you try to explain what an amazing actor and singer he is, but it's just hard to make people pay attention.

I myself did not see his appeal at the beginning. But after hearing him sing and then seeing him in TTB, and that picture

I first heard him in TTB as well. I've also heard him in Taboo and Cabaret. I love his voice. I don't think he's gorgeous in the way I think he's 'hot', cause 1) he's gay, 2)hes much older 3)way out of my league haha, but I think he's just a pretty person.

I tried to do that with my dad when I was asking him to come see Company with me. I was like "It's not like I'm a teenybopper with a crush, he's 35 and married, and I'd like to think I'm too mature for that!" I'll have to find what I wrote, but I basically said that I've seen way too many amateur/immature/bad actors in my life, so to see him perform time after time and never be disappointed is truly remarkable.

Yes, as much as I like that picture it takes longer to scroll down to the bottom, not that I don't mind scrolling by Raul, but it makes it harder for me to talk to you.

Yeah, how did the picture get that big, anyway? It was a lot smaller when I looked at it on the website. It IS nice to see him so close-up, though. In regards to other things: once again, I will comment on the beauty of subtlety.
