mmmmm Hair. *turns it on*
I finally sat and listened to all of Taboo straight through today.

At about 6 o'clock, actually.
I need to listen to the entirety of Taboo sometime.
A guy in my house insulted it the other day. :O
At least he's heard of it...

It IS by a washed-up popstar; Taboo doesn't sound promising (part of its reason for being a box office failure, I think). Introduce him to the music and see if he changes his mind. It's great.

Knock, knock, anybody home? Those screencaps made my night! Now I need to actually hear him sing the song!
In other news, I visited a used books store this evening, and found The Normal Heart! After hearing so much about it from Emcee especially, I couldn't pass up the chance... $5!
I'm here!
YAY, TNH! Em got me to read it too and it was excellent. I just started reading The Destiny of Me.
YAY, ALLIE!
I just put on the Downstage Center Interview. Yes. Masochissssssm. He's crying.

It was a HUGE store, with books basically up to the ceiling, all in piles and hapharzardly placed on shelves... I loved it! I was in the theatre section, and this little red book caught my eye. I saw "Normal Heart, The" and grabbed it. I can't wait to read it.
Argh. Must. Listen. To. Those. Interviews.

Oooh, nice, Allie.
Elphie, they're lovely. His speaking voice is so sexy and he's a very intelligent person.

Yay, Emcee! You've made my play collection (which before consisted of... well, nothing) grow in leaps and bounds! I am so heading back to that bookshop on Monday!
That interview is indeed very precious. It had to be very awkward to play someone who everyone wants more of, you know? Its true when he says that people go there to see him to see Larson. That musical means so much to me, and I can see how it can mean the world to him. I hope there is a movie made of this after rent comes out. maybe the producers of rent will see the rentheads and cash in on them. I know he has said he is too old to play larson again, but I think if they decide to make a movie of this, it NEEDS to be him.
I love his speaking voice! It's been too long since I've heard it. *puts interviews on ever-growing list of things to do tomorrow* *sigh*

Allie, this is all you have? Find Angels in America, Raisin in the Sun, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and Death of a Salesman FAST.
^^Haven't read any of those. *is ashamed*
Wait, I think I've read Raisin. I've definitely seen the movie.

I bought Angels in America the other day, Nia, and I started reading it yesterday! But I'm definitely looking for other ones. I have a huge list of ones we're looking at in my theatre class, but I'll add those other three to my ever-growing list!

Great, great theatre. You won't regret reading them.
Mebice, I completely agree. He needs to play Jonathan.
I'm really tired and headachey, so I'm heading out. *waves* 'night, lovelies.
'Night, Nia!
I should leave too. I have to teach tomorrow morning.
