Sleep is for the weaaaaaaak.

Ugh, SO RANDOM, but that just reminded me of that song.

I'm sure I'll absolutely love it. It looks so small and unassuming in it's red cover, but I think it's a lot more than it looks like... even from just what I've heard you say about it. Special indeed.
ha. It's fitting that the cover is red, I guess. Mine is black. It goes everywhere with me.
Mine has a black-and-white picture on the front, with red lettering.

I was once addicted to this little song...ever since Raul sang it.
That song owns my soul.

Now you're just saying that. Or at least it seems that way.
*cries* My computer has no sound. Ah well, tomorrow I shall invade me father's computer!
Gav, I don't think she's just saying that. :-P

My copy is so tiny! It's about 3/4 the size of a regular book, I guess. At least it's 3/4 the size of my copy of Angels in America. It looks to be in almost perfect condition, and it was clearly published in the 80's! 1985, it says!
oh, WOW, Allie. I wish I could... touch it, or something. I'm being totally serious. That's incredible. Do you have a digital camera?
Goodnight, Elphie!

He's too attractive. If I look at him much longer I might go crazy.

that's awesome Allie. that play is one of the greatest things i've ever read. i've now read it twice and seen it once but i'm thinking i'll have to read it again soon. tony kushner has every ounce of my respect.
my taboo cd came today and i'm really enjoying it. of course raul is his traditional wonderful self and everyone else is so good too. rocky horror came the other day and that's also a lot of fun. of course, i then had to find the number they did on the 2001 tony's and although it's the reprise i guess so it's not raul singing he's right in the front of dancers along with daphne. and you can also see kevin cahoon. i was excited to see that he was in it too. i have to order his cd. *must. stop. spending. money.*
Going crazy is no longer an option. I'm long gone.

So sweet but I wish someone else were behind that playbill...
awww, that's so cute!
heee. I suddenly had an urge to get Raul to take a photo like that. Maybe I wiiiiiill. Not sure who I'd have the note be to, though. I had him talk to my best friend to wish her a happy birthday, once. It was awkward, but funny.

My friends are sweet! They had Erin and Kevin take a picture with it, too!
Aww your lucky friend! What did he say to her?
aww! Can you post those?
Well. I had promised her I'd ask him, and then I totally forgot. This was at the Chatterbox. The people I was with and I had talked to him for a few minutes after - very candid, relaxed, lots of fun - and then we left and were talking outside, while he was doing the photo/autograph thing inside. Then I realized what I had promised to do, and I ran back inside to catch him. Lo and behold, I didn't have to go inside, because I ran into him in the doorway. Literally, smack-dab into the guy, probably missing him by like an inch - my toes probably touched his. Very, very smoothe, let me tell you. So anyway, I realized what I had actually just done, and was like "uh, oh! Raul? Hi. Question. It's my best friend's birthday, and she's at college really far away. Would you mind saying hi to her, really fast? She's a huge fan." or something. Apparently when I had said to her before "oh my gosh, wait, I have a surprise for you - HOLD ON!" she hadn't realized what I was doing, and she hung up! So I gave Raul my cell phone with nobody at the other end. He asked what my friend's name was, and picked up the phone, then looked totally perplexed. I was like "what happened, is she disconnected?" He looks at me and goes "what... what am I? OH! Is this a voicemail?" "....no.... can I see the phone?" Call ended. Rock on, me. So I was like "I'll be RIGHT back!" I ran and re-dialed her, yelled at her, and then had to go find him again. He was totally sweet about it, and talked to her for a minute or two, wished her a happy birthday, and then returned my phone. heh. NOT one of my favorite encounters.

Oh wow! That was so nice of you to do for her. Haha. That really made me laugh. For some reason a confused Raúl amuses me!
