Stop smoking.

Other than that, nothing?

Holding a cigarette is a bad(ass) use of those big hands. Sign language is better. *nods*

*gets distracted* What kind of backround is that in Adam's picture? And why is he looking at the camera as though he's contemplating ways to eat the photographer?

The bigger version looked like it was a chalkboard with writing on it.

Adam? He ended up not going, apparently.

And I did end up running into Anthony really late in the day -- the last hour or so. He had been auctioning some RENT movie stuff.

Sorry, I went to sleep relatively early last night. Yea, he said his brother in law is Deaf. Sorry about the confusion.

Thanks em! It was good having you there and your picture of him is amazing.

How is your homework? Looking foward to ALIAS on Thursday?

He's too talented. (Raul) What did Adam say, Emcee?

Someone said it was something about having to watch his kids. I just had the message passed on -- so, by the time it got to me, it may have morphed quite a bit.

Great article! Oh Raul, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways...

Oh, duh.

I meant that I ran into ANTHONY, not Adam. Adam wasn't there at all. Sorry.

1) you are trilingual.

Emcee, what did Adam say to you when you ran into him?

It was wonderful. The cast was so talented and seemed to work really well together as an ensemble. Other than Taye, I hadn't known any of them but my friend was really excited about the captain who she recognized from Six Feet Under. I especially loved Peterson and CJ (don't remember actors' names at the moment). Taye Diggs obviously did a great job. He has a real presence that is commanding but also friendly and not too overbearing. Probably because of your comment, I was very conscience of the lighting, which was very impressive. They pulled off the flashback within the flashback very smoothly. The play itself was perfect for the day. It was intriguing and intelligent and definately left you with what to think about and about serious issues. However, it was also self-contained in that you left with an understanding of what happened and how it happened. That was nice for the day because it made the transition from play back to flea market easier - I didn't feel the need to figure out what I just saw and not think about other things. I was able to wait for the train ride home as opposed to other plays where you don't want to do anything until you discuss them.

Afterwards, someone told us that Taye wasn't coming out in between the two shows so we didn't get to meet him but it was great seeing him on stage. It was already such a packed day that I wasn't too disappointed.

I kept getting the actors' names mixed up with the characters' names.

I wonder if they've made any cuts since I saw it -- they've only been going for like a week, right?

Yay, glad you had fun, Alix!

Will you guys (Alix, Emcee, Nia, Stefanie, anyone else) help me with my data collecting? There's a thread on this board. Thanks!

Anthony answered my question on the blog! *dance*

It made me excited to know someone whose question was answered Elphie. I'll do the survey tonight.

Yea, the play started very recently. There were one or two instances where actors made slight line mistakes but it was very clean other then that.
