Well, if I was that pretty, I wouldn't mind either.
I remember once -- I think it was at the Chatterbox -- we were taking some pictures, and he told this story to my friends and I about how at his wedding, he had to take so many pictures that he felt like he was going to get stuck smiling. He said he just put on this face, like a "wedding smile." Kind of like a little smiley robot, or something. It's a little bit like his "okay, you're blinding me" face, but it's really funny.
I love that he gets really friendly when he takes pictures. Some people are awkward about it, but he's just like "awww, come here!" and tugs you in. It makes the shyness factor a bit easier to deal with.
OH, and ETA -- I was on the phone with my mom this morning, telling her about yesterday. First, she told me I need to stop being so "star-struck." Not in the sense that I need to be less shy and speak up, etc, but in the sense that this is all EXTREMELY silly, because she still believes it's ALL on a shallow level. She never experienced this phase or whatever you want to call it, so she just doesn't "get" it. Then she told me I'd better not have caught Raul's cold, since I told her he wasn't there last night, probably because he was sick. THERE'S an fangirl story: "OH MY GAWD, I caught Raul Esparza's cold!!" *facepalm* Did I make out with him? No. Oy.
A work of art is an invitation to love.
