That's exciting, Undi.
I don't know if anything is going to happen with it, sorry. It took a while to find out just that much. The NYT review is positive, but it sounds like something that isn't likely to be mounted in a full production since it's a two-person piece. Why do you ask?

Aww. I hope he liked Wedding Singer. I really enjoyed it. And, Amy Spanger was incredible.

Is Wedding Singer good, then?
I so wish I lived in New York so I could see shows. Or at least even be able to keep up with what all is happening.

That's such a great pic Skiksa/Spotlight. Raul looks sooo goood. Abercrombie?
I want to see the Wedding Singer, I hope he liked it

Anyone want to donate some Raul music? My playlist is lacking..PM me
er, he probably went because Kevin Cahoon and Amy Spanger are in the show.

I'm just excited to say... Weekend! Yay! And I get to sleep this time. Though before, I didn't get sleep because I was off seeing my Broadway loves as they all randomly converged on my homestate (Julia Murney, Anthony Rapp, Adam Pascal AND Raul Esparza were all in Ohio within a month of each other. I almost died of joy.) So it's a mixed blessing.
... Yeah, that was random, but it's... kind of relevant. It has to do with my love of Raul. And my sadness that he's gone away. It... kind of works.

ooh you're so lucky!

He does look good... *sigh* . Yeah, I'll second the 'Donate Raul to me' thing, lol. I didn't realise that Kevin was in that show too, that's cool.
So, I got my copy of The Normal Heart, and I haven't started it yet (I think I'm gonna wait till school is over in 2 weeks so that I can consentrate on it), but I am really excited because I got like an original 1985 version- and I thought that was way cool, lol. I wonder if Raul would sign it for me when I go see him, or would he think I was weird to ask?
Where did you get such an old copy? That's really cool.
I've been heavily toying with asking him to sign my script for a few months. I haven't caught him in the right mood yet.

What would be the right mood? I am seeing him in November or December when my friends and I take a trip to NYC to see Company, Rent, hopefully another show, and maybe Seth's Chatterbox. I hope he's in a good mood then and comes out the stagedoor and such.
I found it on Amazon, actually. Like when you buy from a seller not the actual Amazon store? I chose that because it was really cheap, like $2.00 plus shipping & handeling, and lo and behold I got this amazing old copy!
I don't know.
I mean, I don't know how he really feels about the whole thing, but my impression is that it's a sore subject, for a lot of reasons. I had it in my bag when I was in Cincinnati, but he was so out of it, and I'd really like to be able to talk to him about it, a little, so that was NOT the time. Other times, I just haven't had it on me, or he's been in a rush. I feel like if he's not talkative and whatever, I wouldn't bring it up; but when he's in one of his chatty, swishy moods, I might get the guts up for it.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I do believe when you saw him in Cinci he was still recovering from food poisoning, poor guy *pet*. I guess since I don't get to have him in my home-state all the time I would probably try to get him to sign it no matter what- unless he was in a really bad mood or something. I just would love to have him sign it- it means so much to me, and I know it meant a lot to him.
Right, he was sick. And now that I think about it, he kind of looked a bit pale. But he does get moody, sick or not.
I like that he's moody. I think. *snicker*
In your pic, he really looks like he's been tanning.

He's a diva! I love him, lol. Yeah, Spotlight and I overheard him talking about being sick. He was like throwing up on opening night
.
There's an image I don't need.

Lol, I'm sure that's what his friends were thinking when he PRETENDED to throw up to add extra emphasis to his story, lol. I didn't see it, because my back was turned, but Spotlight said that he made a motion as if he were throwing up. Men are so strange. I image it to be kind of like "I'm the lonliest boy in the... BLEH!" .
Well, he's an actor. He must demonstrate.
That's just gross, though.

Oh, silly man. Yes, but I love how he tells stories so vividly, like on the Chatterboxes and such. But him pretending to throw up... I'm sure everyone really appreciated that, lol.

It wasn't so much "loneliest boy in the BLEGH!" actually. It was more... He made a motion with his hand like he was throwing up... It kind of looked like he was "throwing up" all over his friends. *I* was amused, and they found it hilarious.
I always feel so weird when I overhear things like that. It's like... I don't know you, but at the same time... I love you.
Yeah, throwing up isn't cute on anyone.

"I don't know you, but at the same time... I love you. " Ahahah, that made me laugh for some reason. How scared would he be if you said that to him?
