<< I'm reminded of the superbowl of 1991 where the Giants were playing the Bills and won in the last few seconds by one point. >>
Craig,
Giants had the lead in that game, and won when the Bills missed a FG that would have won them the game.
Only similarity is that the Giants won.

<< now hopefully the steelers can come back and screw up the patriot's little record. >>
Now, you're talking !!! I am a huge Steeler fan... dont worry, as soon as we get a new offensive coordinator, and a new Special Teams coach, we will be ok.

Anybody see the short interview with Belichick? Man, he is such a jerk.

<< Wes Welker and Laurence Maroney seemed to be the only guys on the Pats that showed up to play tonight. >>
How many yards did Maroney end up with, because at one point, he was 11 for 16 yards...
Welker is just amazing !!!

I'm not sure how many yards Maroney had, but compared to the rest of the team tonight he had one of the better performances.
I love Welker I have such a huge crush on him its not even funny.
Belichick was dumb not to go for the field goal when it was 4th and 13. I can only imagine what the Boston media is going to do to him in the papers tomorrow.
What did Belichick say?

What a great game.
My friends just left, two rooted for the Pats, and three of us rooting for the Giants.
What fun!
Congrats NY.
Belichick, get some class. At least stay on the field until the game is officially over!

testing
the 1991 game was intense - at least where I was watching as 1/2 of my apt and party guests were rooting for the Giants, the other 1/2 for the Bills. Tensions were high all night and it was a thrilling win/upset for the Giants. If memory serves (and it has been awhile) Although they led 20-19 for the last quarter - up until then it was anyone's game and the Giants really weren't playing well. They didn't win because of their excellence (if I recall correctly) as they were making tons of mistakes. The Bills were the obvious leader but faltered in that last moment. That's why I say it was a huge upset.

Craig,
Obviously, its a huge upset---- the Pats were undefeated this season, but that wasnt what you said in your OP.
You said <>
The Giants didnt win that year in the last few seconds. They already had the lead. They won because Norwood missed a last sec FG. No doubt it was a thrilling game, but not really similar at all (other than fact that Giants won)
Dont forget, in that 1991 game, Giants were also without Simms.
In any event, glad to see my wife a happy camper !!!
