I admire you for posting the link here; you're opening yourself up to all sorts of things lol
That being said, I think it's amazing that you can hit those notes at 13. Bravo -- Im very impressed!
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...
I as well. You are a very brave young lady. I am also appreciative that you username is not WICKEDLUVA24601 if your musical tastes are as mature as your voice is getting to be then I think you will have a very strong love of musicals for years to come. Keep it up and don't stop practicing! It was pitchy at times.

I wouldn't say amazing but you've got some raw talent there.

aww! it didn't work for me, and i wanna hear!
Quick question. How did you put that on the internet? I want to put me singing "The Proposal" from TITANIC because, you guys know how I like to toot my own horn (sexual innuendo not being used at this time).

Very nice young lady! Keep up the good work!
My Fair Lady...quite impressive for a young voice. Do you take lessons?
Thanks!
Spider-I use the sound recorder that comes with the computer and I have a microphone.
BroadwayGirl-I take lessons. I have been taking for about a year.
and it just puts in on the internet for you or do you have to have a website?
Very cool, My Fair Lady. There are things that can be improved, but as long as you continue with your lessons your technique will just become more refined, you definitely seem to have talent. Keep up the good work. :)
Thanks BroadwayGirl! And spider-you have to upload it unto the website.

Nevermind. I got it to work. Thanks again.

*bump* By the way, 248 downloads!
To be honest, don't sing that type of soprano. Those notes are too high for you for now. You sound like a mezzo or alto or something. Though it could just be the sound recorder. You might wanna try Eponine's part in that song instead, unless it's too low. You have a nice tone to your voice underneath it all, so try to keep to songs in your range and let your voice mature. Don't push yourself too hard and keep up with your lessons. Updated On: 12/2/04 at 04:42 AM
I'm going to post more sound clips of me *hides in corner out of nervousness*. Although I get extremely nervous, I have to get feedback. If I don't get feedback somewhere other than DTS on thses songs, I will be really upset.

Okay, here's the main issue...being that you are only 13, your voice hasn't fully changed and developed yet. That won't happen until you are much older. (I'm only 20, and although my voice has changed...it still won't finish developing for a couple more years. It also depends on the person and how they treat their voice.) You, naturally, have a great sounding voice. It doesn't sound forced, etc. But you are also singing songs that are for much older people.
When you hear Bernadette Peters singing "Children Will Listen", of course it sounds amazing when she hits some of the higher notes. Why? Because her voice has developed and it's not as simple as a 13 year old hitting those notes. I agree with Sumofallthings, in that you did have some pitch problems, but you're also doing that acapella...and that's always a risky thing to do. Like everyone said before, I DO admire you for posting that. And you truly DO have an upcoming voice, and voice lessons will definitely further you in terms of vocality.
WAa it won't work for me! I want to her you!
