Hey, I'm watching THE OPPOSITE OF SEX right now on SHOWTIME--seems pretty good!!!


Anybody else ever see it? Any Thumps Up or Down Comments?

I love the movie!

You didn't know there was a musical? It stars Kerry Butler in Christina Ricci's part. It's supposed to be pretty good. Hopefully coming to Broadway next year or so?

Not as of yet. It has only been professionally performed in San Francisco. (The World Premiere). Next up is NYC where I am sure it will get recorded...

I saw this movie in theatres, cira. 1998. I don't remember if I liked it or not, but I loved Lisa Kudrow.

I agree, BW86. I only know Lisa Kudrow from "Mad About You" and "Friends" and in THE OPPOSITE OF SEX she's displaying dramatic abilities I find simply AMAZING...

The, while not nominated for any oscars, Lisa Kudrow did win a NYC critics award for her role

Karen Ziemba played the Kudrow part in the musical. Sounds like a good fit!

In the musical, Ms. Ziemba (wonderfully) played Lucia. Kerry Butler was DeDe. David Burtka was Matt and Jeff McCarthy was Bill.

The musical had a successful run in San Francisco and has a reading in Manhattan in January. It will probably land on Broadway in the 2005-06 season. Let's hope!

A lot of people think that Lisa Kudrow should have gotten an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for that movie....

The cast of the musical is mostly fabulous. I really hope it makes it in.
