Little Women closed yesterday. Saigon auditions/hell starts Monday.

Well, it's PP(lay)S here. Our fall play is this weekend. It is by far the worst play I have ever been in. It is just dumb. The characters are bad and the actors don't make it any worse. The only good thing is that our set is awesome.
In good news though, our winter musical audition packets are going to be available tomorrow. Yes! :)

Posted: 11/13/06 at 11:34pmOur one-act festival is this week, and auditions for our Winter Production are next week with musical auditions (Millie) are the following two weeks. After winter break, I'll be in rehearsal for at least one show (two until March) through early June. Hurrah!

Your school does a lot of musicals. I think you're going to get Kim since you have gotten every other lead role..

Nah. I actually want either ensemble or Gigi I guess. Ellen is a terribly boring character and our director is set on casting Kim asian. (Since we have the asian talent..that sounds weird haha)
But the ensemble in this show does a lot, and I need a break. As You Like It is my next main focus. It's my favorite shakespeare show, and comedic plays and musicals (including Shakespeare) are kind of my thing.

Posted: 11/14/06 at 10:22pmI got cast in the spring mainstage show. Yay its the show that i've been talking about being in since the first day of classes! I didn't get the part I was called back for. But I do get to kill my groom in a wedding dress and do a bunch of movement pieces. Rehearsals start in march. Now i'm gearing up for One Acts and Vagina Monologues auditions.

ok... since IM going for Ellen... I have to back the role up (lol) and say she isnt...REALLY... boring. its just that the story is not all about her, ya know? and since there are no words, her life and character isnt as defined. hopefully, IF i get her, id try to make her even MORE interesting... and it should be called ELLEN THE MUSICAL... :-p :-p hahahahahaha but whatev! sams hella good at comedic roles. :-p
im absolutely nervous as hell for these damn auditions.

That's why I don't like Ellen. I wish she had more character exploration. But!! I am routing for Lisa to get Ellen. You could easily steal the show if Jeff gets Chris...
....
