I've been watching it a lot lately and I've been wondering... when and where exactly do they film those sequences outside with the people watching? And is it just random people that walk up and watch it on a monitor?

It always looks like they film it outside the Palace Theatre. I saw the sign hanging down in a shot once for Liza's show. I know they stand there a lot and ask people if they want to appear on the show. Other than those details, I'm not sure how it works.

It's outside the Visitor's Center. Yes they have a monitor where they show not the whole episode, but enough to understand the case and then they ask for opinions.

I watched them filming outside the Visitor's Center last summer. It was a hoot. I never watch the show, so I had no idea they did all that.

I like this show, but it is no Judge Judy.

Oh I LOVE Judge Judy. It's so much fun watching her devour the litigants. I like The People's Court though.

I've been considering taking a former friend to small claims court but maybe I should take her on the show instead lol

No one will ever be as good as Judge Judy. It's fun to see her rip the litigants a new one. She's always deliciously en pointe, too.

When I had my lazy days, I admit I liked to watch some of these court TV shows, even though many of the people on the show are crazy. I enjoy People's Court and also have watched Judge Mathis, Divorce Court and Judge Alex. Yes, I am a loser.

Does anyone watch Judge Jeanine Pirro?

I love Judge Pirro! something about her...

Judy Milian is one of my favorites... she's just perfect when it comes to being blunt with the litigants without coming across as a b*tch

Judge Judy... in my opinion... is kinda just an angry woman... i used to like her but now i feel like she's that old woman who just likes to yell at people (even though she's right)... she almost borders rudeness to me

but my personal favorite is Judge Hatchett... something about her that I love!

also... I miss Moral Court... that was a fun show to watch
