A: The assumption is that she was. She never married and in those days it would have been quite the scandal. Also, I don't recall Cate Blanchett having freaky circus sex during the film. Since she didn't have any children, the throne went to her cousin James I when Elizabeth died.

A1: I am not entirely sure. The back of my mouth was really raw late last week. That feeling you get if you eat dry cereal and it tears the roof of you mouth (that isn't just me is it?) that usually goes away after a few hours. This however seemed to get worse and then caused me to get a sore throat. I think it's improving, but it's still uncomfortable to talk. Thanks for asking, Rath. You're a sweetheart.
