I love how the right first referred to it as "spreading", and then when that attempt at an evil buzz phrase didn't gain traction, they changed it to "redistribution".

Let's get this straight - our money to help/assist those that make less is called welfare, but our money to help/buy banks is called a bail-out.

That reminds me of what my dad always said: a poor person that steals is a thief, a rich person that steals is a kleptomaniac.
