I strongly believe that there should be a fashion police squad in all cities. And they should have the power to arrest you if you look like and idiot or if you are offensive to the general poplulation..

I can't help but think to myself when I watch awards shows how some of these stylist are still employeed. some of it is just BAD!

This guy in my school walked around with a big black trench coat (or bathrobedepending), a black tophat (like Abe Lincoln's), black boots, and then, to top off the costume, a long pole with a teddy bear stuck on top of it?

Fredi, you live outside NYC. Here's a long shot - have you ever heard of the Palisade's Mall?

Well, anyway, like in many malls, weird ppl walk through them. This is the only place I've seen a cross-dressing male (red hair, 70s outfit (only know that from that 70s show)....)

I think the mall was named the second biggest on the east coast - or something. It was built on a (I think) African Burial ground from the Civil War....(well, it is def. a cemetary).

It's off of exit 9E (I think) of the palisades....

I got talked out of buying a pair of pointy toed orange stilettos the other day. I'm still kicking myself ($10!!) but I don't think Asian people look good in orange.

i remember being in St. Louis (my hometown) last summer and seeing a serious "queen" dressed up in an S&M majorettes outfit (like a leather version) and standing on the corner of Lindel and Kingshighway (a VERY chic neighborhood) twirling a baton and giving some kind of monologue...

AND NOBODY NOTICED!!!

When I was growing up - if you had a second earring you were considered "weird"

i won't even go into what they thought of me back then...

and now - wow!

bso - just passed it yesterday... lol

tiff - color depends on you skin - i don't wear orange well or certain yellows either - they reflect badly off my skin and make me look ill...

I can wear reds and all earth tones and most pastels too - i'm lucky that way - i'm not stricly one "season" as the fashionistas say..

When I was little, everyone wanted to get an earring. My friends were, but my dad wouldn't let me b/c "they're for girls." Finally, my mom just took me to get one - and my dad learned to live with it.

I don't wear it anymore though...

I can wear yellows and oranges, but red looks horrible.. I have indi-glo skin.. nearly transparent..
