you mean the screenplays? yeah, they're massive, but they read a lot faster than you may think cause you can skip some of the song lyrics and just sing it in your head. i just listened to the song while i was reading the scene. haha

EDIT - no, you mean my massive amount of homework. i've already put that out of my mind, until tomorrow morning, DAY OF HELL #1.

Jeremyyyy! Wooooohooo. Now that's someone I can strike up a conversation about!

And yes, that totally counts, Fredi. Just call me the thread jester.

Whoa, I'm a loser.

Yeah, it is Jeremy :) I believe it was from when he was on the Benny Tour, because he's really young in the picture.

		     			don't know him...

it's so bizarre (and wonderful) that there have been so many casts since us...

That pic of Jeremy is probably from the Canadian tour. He looks pretty young and he did that tour long before he was with the Bennys.

My favorite Roger continues to be Joshua Kobak (http://www.joshuakobak.com)
I really enjoy Jeremy's stage presence. It will be really odd seeing the tour because I am so tuned into Jeremy's interpretation of Roger, and since hes the only actor aside from Kevin Spencer I have actually seen play Roger, I'm excited to see a different take on it.

Not sure of the total number of worldwide productions. The official site used to have them listed but I think they eliminated that section. The ones I can think of off the top of my head are: Canada, England, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Japan, Mexico, but I know there were many more.

Edited to add Iceland, The Netherlands, S. Korea, Phillipines, Norway, Hungary, and Sweden. :)

Actually, the German production is one of the favorite international productions for Rentheads. It's often mentioned when discussing other cast recordings and bootlegs. Apparently it was a very talented cast.

it was a very talented cast...

and they had the best RENT WEAR of all the companies that I saw... including Bway.

I've never seen pics of the German cast but I find it interesting how the costumes have changed in some casts. In Canada, for instance, Maureen's OTM outfit was a dress. I haven't seen that in any other cast.

		     			I don't mean costumes..

I mean the clothes they sold with the RENT logo...

great stuff !!

I still have my RENT raincoat and my "green" RENT skull cap (as opposed to the black one and the red/black striped one)

They also had the best t-shirts - I had a great red and grey "baseball" tunic one that I've since lost in my many travels...

I enjoy the merchandise clothes. the German COSTUMES were HIDEOUS. Someone should be SLAPPED for what the cast wore.
		     			on a semi-related note....

if you go to http://libretto.musicals.ru/letter.php?letter_id=18&language=1, you can read rent in many languages.

		     			Hello, Fredi!

I know I'm way behind and ya'll are discussing something completely different, but I haven't been on in a while, and talking to you is enough to bring me back. Welcome, and I can't tell you how excited I am to actually be talking to you, or atleast the technological equivalance!
