so, do you have any other dream roles, besides joanne and motormouth?
mine is the mc in cabaret or to sing like hunter foster...then i'd have more options
True. Speaking of which, Date From Hell #1 won't stop phoning. Did you see my rant a few pages back?

you definitely have to tell him to leave you alone completely - be as firm as possible...
get it on tape if you can (or in front of witnessess..)
you know the drill already....
*Jigs*
At the moment, my 'dream' roles are Elphaba (Wicked) and Maureen (Rent). I'm a white girl that belts. Perfect roles, right? Haha. Now all I need to do is get a voice teacher to help me keep my voice in shape and start losing weight. *Pokes fat*

tg - for sure you gotta keep that voice in shape..
a lot of what i hear from young singers is really scary..
No roles out there for Asians, that's for sure! Unless I take over for Ann Harada in Ave Q, or Flower Drum Song needs another revival, or Miss Saigon needs a new Kim!
I wish I had a way of recording myself and getting it online so you all could hear, though I know computer mics and phones don't help any.. blah.

I'd join, but you'd have to be liable for the windows that shatter from my wail!

You may not be able to, but you can definitely give any and all advice possible. Trust me - I'd listen. I love your voice.

tg - i've put a bunch of tips on this thread already -
but the truth is - it's a "hands on" thing ...
I could write forever and ever and you could read forever and ever but only by listening to you and "adjusting" your technique can I really get results...

Eh, I'm not gonna wade through 200+ pages... well, hopefully one day I'll get to sing for you and you can give me advice. :) That'd be really awesome.
Shoot your q, Tiff.
Okay, just promise you won't be judgmental of me okay? Because it's 11:09pm where I'm at.
I want to know...
With my lovely chocolately coffee alcoholic beverage, what accompanies it?
Chips Ahoy, or chocolate chip muffin.
*pause* Think about it carefully. Weigh the pros and cons. And let me know. Sorry if the emotionally baggage buckles you.
