hmmm That's a good question nia.. I mean I have friends, but I dont rightly know how to describe how you make a friend.. I'm not even sure I know..

I guess I would have to say that in casual conversation you either click or you dont.. Then you try hanging out, and you either continue to click or you dont.. But you should feel comfortable enough with a friend to have silence..

Does that make any sense

It does, and that's because I've tried it with no success. *shrug* I talk to people constantly, it never goes anywhere.

Nia, that is too tough a question...
But just try and be yourself as much as you can on the outside as well as the inside, because people can't read minds and only notice people with big personalities. If you're really quiet at school, and think that people don't like you you're probably wrong - it's just that they don't know you, and are indifferent because you blend in. So stop blending in - be outrageous!! I mean, WE know you're fabulous, so it's time to show it to the outside world! That might have been totally inane and irrelevant to your life, but I tried!

Hmmm like I have people I can talk to at school and such, but I sort of get the feeling they just talk to me to be nice. I have 2 okay friends... not great. All of my *really* good friends are back in NC.

Oh hun, we all go through those awkward times.. It's not easy I know, but you can't give up. Maybe you can join in some extracuricular activites.. There you would meet people with your same interests..

ok, i'm out for tonight. i have a french project that has to be IN FRENCH, not ENGLISH urghhhh. i love online translators. i think its due tomorrow but i don't even know because my friends said the teacher was absent today. maybe i'll just go to bed cause i can just say i was sick. *contemplates idea* maybe i'll do that.

i won't be on tomorrow cause now that my fever's gone the parentals are letting me go back to school. so... talk to you all tomorrow night.

Beka, be wary of online translators- they're automatic and go word-for-word. Your teacher will be able to tell if you've just copied from one and your composition will be incorrect.

Aww, Nia knows she has my support. I've spent hours upon hours on AIM/PM with her supporting her and lending an ear, including advising her on the specific subject that was at hand. I'm allowed to play the evil card once in a while.

b_s_t Not too shabby. Just got home. Tired and irritable. Ran into my ex's best friend (the one who dumped me in bed) today. Awkward as hell, and I looked like SH*T run over twice.
