With having a job in the entertainment field comes a certain amount of responsibility. He has the right to be as Homophobic as he wants, however to spew his hate and suggested acts of violence while having a high profile, highly visible, highly influential position on the public airwaves certainly does cross the line. He should not be allowed back.

Who the hell was that New England Patriot they just showed in a head to toe pink suit? Oh, he needs a visit from #teamwhipdatass.

This from a man who wears ascots! Miss Thing clearly has issues. And his wife seems like a peach, too.

So basically, a delusional idiot is saying Martin is ignorant and clueless. Regardless, I've a feeling Martin gets trumped by gays frequently.

I can't believe people are saying he's "protected" under Freedom of Speech. Nobody's arresting him or putting him in jail here. He didn't break the law, he made stupid, insensitive, mean-spirited, hate comments. You can definitely be fired for being a hateful jerk in a public entertainment job.

On the flipside, you can also get high ratings and be beloved by an adoring fan base. Depends on who you work for and what the job is. And he should have been smart enough to know who he was working for.

Suspended for public stupidity and being a colossal jerk, not breaking the law.
