Whant an insanely sad movie... I couldn't speak to my friend after seeing it with her. But I loved it.

IN THE COMPANY OF MEN was probably the most upsetting film I've ever seen and I think still holds up as LaBute's best.

It's basically about these two guys who have had bad relationships with women in the past so they decide to play a practical joke on the weakest, most vulnerable girl they can find. They'll both shower her with love until they both break up with her at the same time. They choose a girl who is completely deaf.

Y'know I met him a few weeks ago and really wanted to ask him that very question but we just ended up talking about THE WICKER MAN. lol
