Her husband?
Hey, I don't live in NYC. I go twice a year at the MOST. (Usually for a day). His eyes are scaring me.

NO SCANDAL.
She loves her husband. Norbert is a friend. They eat doughnuts out of each others mouthes. That's ... friendship.

Actually, I'm already familiar with the music, thanks to BWW radio and the fact that one of the drama groups at school did a production of it in the fall. (I wasn't in it, of course, but I ushered one night.) And I do love it. How can you not?
Random thought ('cause you guys seem to like those): Why is the verb "to usher"? If the person who does it is called an usher, shouldn't the verb be "to ush"?

HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHEH ZYLA.
It's funny you say that.
Once there was a sketch comedy benefit for the theatre school I go to/teach at and a bunch of us students volunteered to ushers. We made a speech to every group that came in that started with my friend Dylan saying "Hey. We're ushers. We're here to ush!"

Heh. Well, I'm glad my remark amused you.
I can't stop listening to "Still Hurting." I've already lost count of how many times in a row I've played that one song. Everything about it is so wonderful...the melodies are gorgeous and (at least for me) they capture the emotions perfectly. The piano and strings provide the ideal (again, in my opinion) tone color. I love the lyrics, so simple and so expressive. The rhyme scheme works well, too. And then you have Sherie's powerful voice. There's some great acting in that song.

If rushers rush, shouldn't ushers ush?
I'm so proud I just came up with that. *bows*

Posted: 3/31/06 at 3:24pmI think I would probably get tired of a show. The only show I can think of that I wouldn't get tired of is DRS, or something else with a big cast where there are lots of changes.

Posted: 3/31/06 at 4:51pmIt wasn't at a Broadway theater, and it was volunteer based. The only show I ushered at more than once was Birdie Blue.
