The Show (and snow) Must Go On!

What do you think? During a blizzard or intense storm, should Broadway close? As a theater patron who is able to attend, I know I would be upset that my show was cancelled. However, one must remember that all the actors/stagehands/ushers/theater employees don't all live in the Times Square area, many in further boroughs and even out of the city. Should their safety be compromised so that the folks who are able to attend can?
I'm on the fence with this. Yes, it would be a headache to process all of the exchanges/refunds (however, telecharge is already doing that.)
What are your thoughts?

My thought is this...if the producers can get the cast in safely and theater goers are willing to take the risk to go out and see the show, then that's fine. No harm. No foul.

But if the show does go on and most theater goers aren't willing to risk it then the performers will be playing to almost empty houses...so that's a risk in and of itself because if some people did manage to show up to see the show but the powers that be decide it's not worth the effort to "go on with the show" and decide to cancel then there are gonna be some seriously pissed off theater goers who made the trek all the way out to the theater for nothing.
