I'm hoping to get it for my birthday in July. It looks amazing. Downloading the iPhone version tonight!

I have the "special" version that came out a few weeks ago which I've been playing to hold me over. The customization, the neighborhoods-everything about it is amazing. I can't wait to buy the final version sometime soon!

I think I'm going to have to get a new computer just to play this. :)

Is this still around? I got so bored trying to figure out how to start using the first one, I just gave up.

Does anyone know if there will be a Roller Coaster Tycoon 4? I loved 1 and 2, but 3 sort of sucked.

I saw an article on this in the NY Times today, and it seems so boring. I dont get the Sims thing.

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

I finally bought it and it is FREAKIN AWESOME! It is significantly more complex (in a good way) than all the others, and it allows you to do so much more. I remember with the other sims games, I could never use ANY of the neato extra features because I was too busy making sure my sim wasn't thirsty, tired, ant-social ect..., but FINALLY I can use all the fun sims features. Go to the store RIGHT now and buy it, I had a little trouble finding it today.

do they make the Sims for Macs, or is it PC only thing?

The version that came out today is for Macs and PCs.

I want this so bad! My computer can barely handle The Sims 2, so there's no way it can take on TS3.

I have it for my iPod touch right now - don't get it. It's repetitive, annoying and nowhere near worth 9.99.

I have been playing it all day and it's a lot of fun and quite different from the Sims 2.

Too bad nobody read your warning, because the Sims 3 just shot up to #1 on the Top Paid Apps list on iTunes.

I am very picky about what games I get for my iPod touch. The last game I bought was Bloons (they need to come out with more of these.)

I have no plans to get it anytime soon. I'll wait until there are enough mods to make it tolerable, but even then, I don't see it as a total replacement, the way Sims 2 was for Sims 1.
