The Sorcerer's Apprentice

so I just saw a screening of it... and I must say... the trailers did nothing for me... but i ended up really enjoying it... Jay Baruchel was very appealing in this movie and Nic Cage gave a strong performance... and of course Alfred Molina is just a great actor... and loved seeing Monica Bellucci... damn that woman is gorgeous!

I would suggest everyone give this movie a shot... hopefully you'll leave surprised at how enjoyable it is

The Sorcerer's Apprentice

I don't do Nic Cage movies. I went to see KICK-ASS not knowing he was in it, but surprisingly I enjoyed him in it. So...maybe I have to see this??

Hmm. I think I need a second opinion from someone else who has seen it...
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Have not heard any reviews yet by I doubt this will be any good. I'll watch Nic Cage in The National Treasure movies, but that's about it. Still, the film is tracking better now than it did a week ago.
