I saw Incubus in concert when I was in high school. Wasn't their last album kind of a disappointment?
I'm kind of baffled by the Nine Inch Nails thing, too. I've also been told by a few friends who have similar music tastes to me that I absolutely must listen to Tool, but I haven't looked into them much yet. And I've liked what I've heard of the Dresden Dolls, but you guys are making me want to check them out further.
I can't decide which is better, suburbia or extremely small town life. Both have their major disadvantages.
Edit: Dresden was one of my favorite cities in Europe. It's this strange mix of modern and Cold War-era and extremely old. The downtown section is amazing, and they're still rebuilding some of the landmarks that were destroyed in the firebombing in WWII (since apparently not much money was alotted to reconstruction when it was under East German communist control). The architecture is absolutely gorgeous, though. It's also one of the least-touristy places that we went and has a cool college scene.

That's really interesting, nia. I love it.
I feel like at least small towns have identity, which suburbia doesn't.

My town has lots of identity. Unfortunately, it all revolves around insane rodents and centuries-old political movements.

I think I'm going to get lost in the library tomorrow.
My boyfriend and I just saw rainbows when we were out driving. He snapped a picture with his phone.
oooooooooh pretty.
I'm looking up books for a project, and they're ALL in German.
That's not cool, Em. I had that issue with researching for a term paper on the plant life of the Swiss Alps last summer-- everything that would have been helpful was in German. What is your paper on?
It's a presentation on a playwright, who happens to be German.

Kathrine McPhee butchered "Someone to Watch Over Me" in my opinion, and everyone else loves her on American Idol. (Random Banality)
That makes sense. Good luck finding what you're looking for in a readable form. I know that's so frustrating when you're researching.
I'm so out of the loop with anything tv-related because I'd rather not fight with my roommate over it. I'm toying with the idea of not getting cable next year because I know I can go without it.
Boo, I don't want to go to school tomorrow.
Guess it's time to do my homework...
I don't want to go either. I haven't been to school in 12 days. Spring break = <3
I just had pizza. It totally hit the spot!

Mmmm, pizza. I want some. Pizza party at my place! But you have to help me pack first!
I'm straightening my hair tonight for the first time in what seems like forever.
I'm not ready for tomorrow at all.

In the case of prom? A resounding YES.
Otherwise, not really!
Did you know that our bodies are actually biologically programmed to function within, I believe, a 25-hour day instead of a 24-hour day? I'm pretty sure that's the only thing I learned in psych last year.
siamese dream, your prom picture is so pretty! What a beautiful dress!
There really are just not enough hours in the day.
But I'm sitting here watching Family Guy and not working.
I'm mad about the Outer Critics Circle noms.
