I cut my foot on a piece of broken glass left over from the perfume bottle I broke last month. I thought I cleaned everything up after I knocked the damn thing over!

My Passover plans changed. I can't decide if I'm glad that that means I'm going home.

I was walking across the quad and there were all these people crowded around a big box on wheels. There was a guy inside the box, with a clear plastic top and the box was filled with water. He had a tube coming out of a hole in the top so he could breathe. I went to work at 3:30 and when I was walking past it on my way home at 6:00, the guy was standing there, drenched and talking to university police.

My throat hurts.
I really like "Songs for a New World."
One of my friends is trying to teach me how to make myself sleep later in the morning, because the fact thta sleeping late for me generally means 9:00 AM means that "I have problems."

Something I ate last night had red wine in it and it made me very sleepy.

I'm still sleepy, but I don't think it's from the red wine.

My computer is pissing me off. I've run so many virus checks that find nothing. But apparently I've got all these progams running in the backgorund making my computer run slow. It takes half an hour just to get my desktop up.

I use McAfee and as someone who has destroyed many a computer, this is a gift.

Also, Sarah, delete your cookies.

It's not a space issue. I've deleted everything that takes up space. There's something running in the background that I can't figure out.

I repeat, delete your cookies. If there's a program running in your background, like adware or something, delete them first. It will at least make your computer go faster. Then go to your control panel and look at the programs you have on your computer. If there's something that you didn't download then you'll recognize it. Uninstall whatever it is.

If it's something totally different and I'm just completely on the wrong track, sorry.

That's ok, computers make my head hurt and I really don't understand a lot about them. It's just so frustrating because I don't understand any of it. Is it sad that I'm on my roommate's computer just to get my bww fix?

Last time I deleted things I didn't recognize in my control panel I wiped out my computer, and somehow deleted my games and wordpad. I also disconnected my LAN and couldn't figure out why I had no internet. I can't even figure out what programs I have running in the background.

Press Control, Alt, Delete once. The Windows Task Manager should pop up. Go to the Processes tab. Everything there is a process that's running. Click on "User Name" to organize the list and everything under your user name is pretty much every program you have running that you have the ability to close (local service and system are essential). If you look at the Mem Usage column, it should also tell you which things are taking up a lot of memory to run.

Maybe it's because of my frustration or I'm just slow. But I was trying for the longest time to figure out how Mary knew my name. Then I saw one of my posts.
