Em, this is probably just a reflection of how I deal with problems, but when you're feeling like this, perhaps it would help to distract yourself with something other than writing about your problems. To me, writing my problems down (or typing them, in this case) just magnifies them and forces me to think about them even more. Maybe it helps you, and if it does, disregard my advice, but I thought you might find my thoughts somewhat useful/helpful.

I had a problem with my wrist about a year ago, and I got this nifty little brace thing. It was sort of like an ace bandage, but more like a glove with no fingers. It helped a lot.
