Bwahaha. I have Phantom recorded, and intend to watch and cackle at the first opportunity.
Watched The Full Monty, which I'd actually never seen before. Great movie, and I'm impressed by the spiritual accuracy of the musical adaptation.
I'm still emailing with Australia. If this had been a phone call, we'd have had to mortgage our homes by now.
Em, you are killing me. Just for you:
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!
I am listening to Debussy's Afternoon of a Faun
That's so pretty!
I'm listening to the "Love Actually" soundtrack.
I left my new and costly body wash in the bathroom of a hotel in Baltimore.
I love Heath Ledger, but never was he more attractive than in 10 Things I Hate About You, which has to be the best teen movie of the '90s. In fact, I think I'm going to watch that now.
I can't get rid of this stupid cough.
I forgot the name of the cough syrup that tastes nasty but is supposed to be great for coughs...
Knowing there's a great cough medicine out there which I can't go get because I don't have a name is of no good to me, really.

Sorry to butt in, but I wanted to post this, and it seemed too banal for its own thread.
It is now officially my 1 Year Anniversary on BWW! (Although I lurked for probably a good 6 months before I signed up.) It has been fun and educational.
I think the name of it is Bucks or Bucklys or something like that...
congrats Therese!
Happy Anniversary! CHEERS!
...and speaking of grooming products, someone left their shampoo in my guest bathroom.
kissmycookie, you're thinking of Buckley's cough syrup, which looks like semen (and sort of tastes like it, with a burning after-taste). Its tagline is: "Tastes terrible, but it works!" (and it does).
sweetestsiren, I totally agree with you but I'd say that Cruel Intentions is the second-best teen movie of the '90s after 10 Things.
Just watched Million Dollar Baby for the first time - I was expecting a cliched and shallow feel-good movie (and for the first half, I was right) but why didn't anyone warn me I'd be sobbing in the last 30 minutes??
ETA: Congrats, Therese.
Robutussin (sp) does the trick but makes me quite sleepy...
Congrats therese...
That's it, Tiff! Though, that's one helluva way to describe it...

Barnes and Noble.com is driving me up the wall. They don't have what I want, and they charge more than Amazon for what they do have. I would just use Amazon, but that's not what I got the gift certificate for.
She's right, though... that's an accurate description.
Plum, that's so frustrating!
Tiff... I'll be looking for that cough medicine tomorrow!
I'm gonna be in Vancouver next weekend...
Just wonderin if they want it back...
(it might be a shower gel, though. I didn't really look closely...)
wonders how that cough medicine works on a lawn...
Snowboarding, DD? Come in a couple of weeks - it's Dine Out Vancouver time! (Two weeks of inexpensive prix-fixe menus at Vancouver's most exclusive restaurants, followed by Chinese New Year and movie awards season - I LIVE for this.)
Addy, is it a good brand? Heck, keep it for yourself! (Off-topic - people in the know, between John Frieda and Sebastian hair products, which would you recommend? I just bought the Frieda set but someone said I should've invested in Sebastian instead.)
Plum, if the gift cert doesn't expire soon and if the product is critical, just get it at Amazon!
is it a guest who will return in the future Addy? Is it keepable? Or you could go ahead and use it... I'm sure s/he wouldn't mind. Especially if it is a good brand...
What kind of hair do you have, Tiff?
