Banality is closer to Godliness.

Hey all! Final load of laundry is in the dryer! YAY! I so love sharing my hum-drum life with you all!
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

Banality is closer to Godliness.

Today has been a good day.

My band teacher tried to get my class to play "happy Birthday" to me, and it turns out they can't. (Hehe... advanced band. But it was cute.)

My English teacher found out that is my birthday, and announced it to the class. A few people started singing to me "applebee's style." Very amusing.

My band teacher let us out of marching band rehearsal early. Banality is closer to Godliness.

That poor kid needs an endocrinologist; he probably has something like nonclassical adrenal hyperplasia.

I have 2 more papers to write in 2 days. *laughs maniacally* Yeah, I'll never get it done. Unless I don't sleep.

(so is mrs Smith..!)
I watched the Color Purple at the Oprah show with Donald Byrd today. Quite surreal when you're listening to Hell No and someone's next to you going like "She used to be married to Bob Dylan. Oh, this was her stage debut but she's so good!" and then goes on humming along with the music.. Freaky.
I want a voice like Felicia Fields, Jesus..!
See, I forgot, dancing.. did you have a nice birthday?

My ipod died yesterday. It was a first generation one with the wheel that actually turns. It's a sad day in Katyland.

Yup, you're definitely a weirdo, pengy. However, Stevie Nicks was genius.

I'm thinking I may have to give myself a little hiatus from the BWW world. I seem to spending way too much on it at work.

I think I just need to learn about moderation. Checking BWW every ten minutes is probably a little unnecessary. Thanks for the despair at my talk of leaving. I feel loved.
