Posted: 6/29/13 at 7:39pmI was just re watching episodes of United States Of Tara this past week and Toni Collette's performance never fails to amaze me (in fact, I adore the entire series). Her performance in The Sixth Sense is so subtle yet brilliant. She's easily one of the most versatile actresses out there but I can't help feel she's underrated. So.. anyone else care to fangirl over her?

Posted: 6/29/13 at 8:17pmShe's the most valuable player in Velvet Goldmine besides the costumes, in my opinion. Getting Bale's character to know about the story of Curt Wild and Brian Slade through her character and her transformation really makes the movie come alive.

Muriel's Wedding
Clockwatchers
Little Miss Sunshine
All wonderful performances.
And I wish that she would return to Broadway. It would be fun to see her in one of the classics like Gypsy, Mame or Hello Dolly.

While I think it may be slightly below her being the 4th replacement in a Broadway revival, I think she'd make a great (and very unique) Hannigan!
She could certainly play many other theatre roles: Diana in Next To Normal (if she is not in the movie adaptation..!), Mrs. Lovett (it's a crying shame she didn't get the movie adaptation as well as Roxie in Chicago)
