I did....great movie....Joan Allen can do no wrong in my books! This is probably the best thing Kevin Costner has done in YEARS!

Joan Allen is amazing, and she looks fantastic for her age, I might add.

Terrific acting from Allen and Costner, but the movie itself falls flat.

I liked it too. I think Costner plays either a baseball player or a cowboy in every movie he can.
I loved Joan Allen and hope they remember the performance come awards season next year. She looked a little thin though, no?

i saw it yesterday. THe film was rather long i thought but the performances made up for it. I agree that joan allen looks amazing for her age. :)

"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell plus i proudly share the title of the shortest member over the age of 10 with wickedrentq!

I haven't seen it - but when Joan Allen was being interviewed by Katie Couric last week, Katie was saying that, though the film is being marketed as a comedy, she found it to be very dark and kind of depressing..how do those of you who saw it feel about this? Do you agree that it is not really a comedy - or ???

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

Excellent performances by all, especially Miss Allen. But, while it had it's moments, the film was uneven.

Maybe Joan Allen will finally get the recognition she deserves.

Rented this movie a couple of days ago and really, really loved it. Joan Allen and Kevin Costner are both Oscar-worthy. Mike Binder (the writer and director) was very good as the sleazebag, as were the four beautiful supporting actresses (I don't think Keri Russell has ever been better). The score, costumes, and cinematography were great.

Despite popular belief, I didn't think the ending was a cheat. It really hit hard, because it made me replay everything that had happened to that point.

The funniest part is when Terry walks in on... two certain people in bed. Brilliant!

It was a good movie, but I found it much darker than the trailers had lead me to belive.

And it had a seriously bizarre ending...I must say I didn't see it coming though...

Chita-

Why would you give that away without warning? How could you?

As long as you don't spoil the scene where Kevin Costner trips over a DVD box and smashes his jawline, therefore forcing him to quit his job on the radio show, I'm okay.

Liked the acting, but didn't like the movie. I HATED every single one of those people, and couldn't have cared less what happened to any of them.
