The View

Personally, I think that Rosie O'Donnel is "heterophobic".. I don't know if that's an actual word, or not, but that is my take on her. She is loud, brash, doesn't think before she speaks, and is totally classless. I think her babying of Danny Devito was sickening. He should have been asked to leave, as far as I'm concerned. Sure free speech is a wonderful gift we all have as Americans, but to be so disrespectful, is something I find quite despicable. I think that Barbara Walters should have her head examined for bringing that trouble-maker on board. Almost makes me wish that Star Jones was back. Well, no, but almost anyone else would be preferable.

re: The View

How does your post prove her to be a "heterophobic"?
How to properly use its/it's: Its is the possessive. It's is the contraction for it is...

re: The View

It obviously doesn't, but that was just one point of my "rant". I find her to be that way, because she is always accusing others of being homophobic, and as Shakespeare is wont to have said, "methinks she doth protest too much."

re: The View

Can I just say that this is probably THE STUPIDEST thread on this board?

Yes, Rosie is an idiot. She opens her mouth and starts to speak without thinking. This is nothing new.

She needs to just shut that piehole of hers, and people need to stop wasting space on this board with stupid topics about Rosie. Thank you.

re: The View

I know we shouldn't feed the trolls but...

I find Rosie very "enjoyable" as she would say...

And as a fat girl...she was one of the people I looked up to growing up, and I know I'm not the only one. I also love that she unappologetically says what she feels. While I don't agree with everthing she says, it's something I admire.

I'm tired of people toeing the company line constantly.

re: The View

I love what Rosie has done for Broadway. I also think she is hysterical.

re: The View

I agree with you Corine. I too, really appreciate how much Rosie promotes the broadway community as a whole. I guess the only thing about her that bothers me is the she can be a bit over opinionated and sometimes she does get on my last nerve. But I will admit, I have started watching the view a lot more since she has joined, and I believe that the ratings are a lot higher than they were the last few seasons.

re: The View

I know Rosie will forever be linked to Broadway in the eyes of us theater lovers, but this (unlike a few other recent Rosie threads) has nothing to do with Broadway and should be in the off-topic forum. I think the original poster raised a few points that lend themselves to good discussion...but that discussion would be a whole lot better in the proper forum.

re: The View

"Heterophobic"? Only a straight person would come up with that crap.

I adore Rosie.

re: The View

" I think that Barbara Walters should have her head examined for bringing that trouble-maker on board."

Yeah.. she should have her head examined for bringing someone in that brought needed life into the show and turned it around into a ratings winner. And she should have her head examined for bringing someone in who plugs a different charity almost on a daily basis, promotes breast cancer awareness, children's causes, and of course broadway shows among many other things.

re: The View

I can't believe no one started screaming that this should be on the off-tpic board. With that said, I love Rosie too, but I have no problem with people saying she is too much. She is way too much and that is what we need. No more tip-toeing around, she is here to raise Hell, and be a heterophobe (WTF)

re: The View

Maybe episodes of The View should have a RATINGS SYSTEM on them like Broadway shows!! (just thought I'd combine two, two, two ign'ant threads into one!)
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

This means that she is afraid of straight people?

re: The View

I LOVES ME THE ROSIE! She's real, she's funny, she's opinionated and outspoken, but more importantly, she's good-hearted and generous. Not to mention that’s she's brought some much needed life to The View. The ratings are up and it's being discussed ad nauseam here and elsewhere.

re: The View

"so what does Rosie do?, hires an armed security guard for her family. Talk about being a hypocrite."

Ok. I think there should be a middle ground between the N.R.A's position on gun control and Rosie's ability to make sure her family is safe. However, I understand the accusation of hypocrisy. It's not like I could afford to hire an armed body guard if my life was threatened.

re: The View

Rosie's argument with Tom Selleck was about assault weapons. She isn't saying that police and professional security people shouldn't be allowed to be armed. She is concerned with the right to own your own uzi.

re: The View

You know, before she joined The View, I liked her. I found her funny, and I did watch her talk show, and etc, but right now she's really turning me off with her public outbursts. I mean, come on Kelly Ripa telling Clay Aiken that she doesn't know where his hand has been is not homophobic. It's more germaphobic, but does she understand that, No; she even thinks that she wasn't offend any Asian American viewers with her phony Chinese accent, come on, and then there was her first show where she had the gall to say "Hi I'm Meredith Viera".

She really needs to stop this, she thinks she's funny but she's not, and you know I really hope Trump goes through and sues her, for all the stuff she's been saying about him. I really don't care for her anymore.
