hahaha, I know Shamylan said it was different and not as scary but I'm sorry, I was expecting some thrills and chills like SIGNS and thats what others were expecting too.

a well filmed movie..it has good meoments but when it all comes down to it it's just disappointing and the ending is stupid. if you can look past the ending i would recomend seeing it cause it still has some good parts.

Which comes back to my point that the film was badly mismarketed. The people who designed the campaign for the movie should all be shot. Shyamalan was hoist by his own petard as well though. He's renowned for twist endings so everyone is trying to second guess the movie the whole way through, and he always does a Hitchcock style cameo in his movies. A lot of people are saying they guessed the twist as it was the only way he would be able to appear. Whatever.

Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

I liked it. Howard's daughter was very good. Her mission in the end was a little far fetched but......

Major spoiler**********
Seriously, do not look at this if you haven't seen the film or don't mind knowing the ending.

Ok, so, I think they could have really had a good movie with one minor change in the film. When they reveal that the monsters are fake and then "Little Red" kills the one in the forest...well, they could have easily kept the surprise twist of living in the present day, but I think an even better twist would have been, after the council reveals that she actually killed the challenged boy...he could have actually shown up in the village again. That would have left open the question of monsters actually living there and I think it would have been much cooler and suspenseful...after all, what was it she killed in the woods?

Continuing spoilers:

It was Adrien Brody. They show him in the ditch after he falls.
