Anyone interested? Reviews have been mixed so far (I'm hoping for them to get better), but the story sounds interesting and Cage's performance is supposed to be brilliant. I'll give it a look. Updated On: 10/26/05 at 03:36 PM

To me, the commercials look really stupid. I hope the movie is better than the commercials.

took long enough... they were showing the trailer for this with Phantom, and with the number of times i saw it, i should have it memorized!

Saw it today, and absolutely loved it. The marketing is way off, though. This is a really dark and bizarre story, but it's the kind of Hollywood movie that I love seeing: one with ideas and emotion behind it.

Terrific acting by everyone, especially the supporting work by Michael Caine and Hope Davis. However, this is Cage's movie, and he is amazing in it. One of the greatest performances I've seen this year. Updated On: 10/30/05 at 04:03 PM

Ah...phantom memories...this time last year we could scarcely wait for the movie to open. *sigh*

And, yeah, I remember seeing the trailer...and then it disappeared. Was "The Weather Man" re-edited or something?

ah well... this year the anticipation is for rent, so its all good!!


they never said when the movie was coming out in that trailer, so it's like it was ready, but not and they decided to push back the date. i don't know! but it's about time!
