I received a PM last night from someone saying if I didn't like her blog, I didn't have to read it.
I've never read her blog. So today, I went to see what the person posting as me had done.

I don't know if they end on a darker note or not, because by the time I've gotten to the end I've forgotten what the beginning was about.

On the actual blog, you can click on the 'Rathnait62' and it links to my old website.
Wait...what?
Rathie.. your opening a can of worms.
Hey, I'm just letting people know that I'm not the one doing this sh*t. I didn't create the can of worms.
Was this really necessary?
As necessary as someone feeling the need to go to other sites and post as me, yes. But thanks for asking. THAT was certainly necessary.
it might not have deserved its own thread, but i recently had a reasonably similar thread about something that happened on my blog. i was able to deduce from a quick trace that the person came from bww and where in nyc they were. i'm sure the blogger in question here can look at the ip address and see where the comment came from. i wonder where it would be? i'd be interested in knowing.
Interesting, papa. Thanks for that info.
ETA: The reason I started a thread is because I want everyone to see this, in case it's happening other places that I won't know about and therefore won't be able to respond to privately.
well, it only works if the blogger has subscribed to a counter like statcounter or bravenet or blogstats or the like. so it's not a sure thing. but it sure does make for some interesting viewing when the anonymous arrive. or when a commenter claiming to be one person posts from an ip address across the country.
That was actually the second time that mystery person posted as Rathnait. Here's the first:

It must take you a long time to read each entry out loud. I've never seen a blog with entries this consistently long that aren't legal or medical related. I'd take a poll to see how many people actually make it through an entire entry.

I didn't see that one.
Pretty cowardly to leave mean comments with someone else's name on them.
I have no objection to you starting a thread like this, Rath. My initial response was to the tilte. There is a thread on page one called "The People of BWW," which is a very positive, well-intentioned thread started by someone who wanted to say kind, warm things about his fellow posters. Then your thread appears with the same title, but with "Creepy.' Perhaps if you had given it a different title, it would not have struck me as trying to detract from one with a similar name.
But that's how I took it.
On October 3rd, the following cities showed hits:
Denver, CO
Chicago, IL
Oak Park, IL
Merrillville, IN
Nesconset, NY
New York, NY
Akron, OH
On October 19th, the following cities showed hits:
Lexington, KY
Lowell, MA
Houghton, MI
Lansing, MI
Dover, NH
Tonawanda, NY
Portland, OR
Springfield, VA
i don't see how one thread "detracts" from another. each one is its own entity. when people start complaining about how others title their threads it always makes me giggle.

Link please, floweryfriend.
Anytime I can make you giggle, Papa, I'm a happy girl.
Why does everyone have so friggin' much to say? Blogs?!
Why is my blog suddenly on trial? I don't believe that's the goal of this thread.

It's not on trial. Plus, I gave you a compliment!
I was just agreeing with Rath that the long paragraphs would be easier to read with more breaks.

I have a friend who is a pre-op MTF tranny who has a terrible blog. She finally put it on lockdown, because she and her wife (still legal since they chop hasn't happened yet) lost their jobs at some theater in hillbilly country because of it.

I'm glad for this thread because I never go to blogs.
You're a good writer, ff. I'm on the Bridget Jones/NaWriNoMo section and it's eminently readable. I don't think you'll have any trouble with the November challenge.
Also, I appreciate your candor about the body image issues and the messages that bombard young women.
Phyllis, once the chop happens the marriage is rendered illegal? That's so weird. It's like a blow for gay rights, but a win for trannie rights, I guess.
