Posted: 11/3/04 at 8:33amI'm sure there are many people in your state who will be more than happy to move you. I think you should move to Texas...you'd fit right in there. Maybe you can find a girl there who would date you.

Amen, Boobs.
GO! The educated, liberal Northeast won't miss you, Buddy.

Posted: 11/3/04 at 8:42amRodney, you can't leave! What would your neighbors think if you left?? I mean it's not everyday you get to live with someone who said they would have voted for Adolph Hitler, you backwoods redneck inbred hillbilly.

Posted: 11/3/04 at 9:03amAm I to believe that RodneyK is saying that if the northeast is hit by a terrorist attack, they've brought it on themselves? I'm misinterpreting this, right?

Posted: 11/3/04 at 9:07amSadly Brunhilde, you're not misinterpreting anything. He'll be wishing your family (or mine) dead any minute now. Another shining example of a proud Rebublican.

I was hoping that the victor in this election would begin to unite a nation deeply divided.
Perhaps my hopes are in vain.
Pity.

What's amazing to me is how divided Florida is right now. South Florida (Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties) strongly supported Kerry, unlike the rest of the state. South Florida is predominately educated NE transplants.
It's a sad day....

Lovely sentiment, Rodney. I hope you don't mind that in exchange, I'm imaging bashing your head in with a pick-axe. Nothing personal. But people who even joke about terrorism go on my **** list faster than just about anyone.
Say that again, ****head, when you've had a shrapnel bomb explode in front of your apartment building. Say that again, ****wad, when you're locked in your parents' taped-off bedroom wearing a gas mask, knowing that Saddam has nerve gas and there's missles hitting the ground a few miles away. Meanwhile, I hope you stew in your fetid ****. I hope you choke on it.
And I hope you don't miss all that nice tax money the Northeast pays. Didja know that they pay more in proportion to their incomes than any other area? And they're willing. The rest of the country lives off the Northeast, not the other way around. And we're all Americans, a fact that normally gratifies me, but in cases like yours makes me wish there was a citizenship exception for heartless sociopaths.

Rodney,
DC will happily be the capitol. Kerry got over 90% of the vote here, so we'll accept the responsibility of being the capitol of a republic that stands for right for ALL of the people in it. Even the republicans. I live on Capitol Hill so I volunteer my house.

Rodney- I usually don't so much as read your posts, as they are seldom worth the time that would take, but you have really outdone yourself this time. I find it AMAZING that you can disregaurd such a huge portion of the nation, just because we excersized our rights as citizens of a DEMOCRACY, becuase we are not satisfied with the current state of the nation.
You don't care about anything that happens to myself and my family? Anything? You know what that imply's, correct?
Go. To. Hell.

Ohio's split too. The northern half which is very industrial and hemorraghing jobs voted for Kerry, the south, which is traditionally more Republican anyway, sided with Bush.

Plum, I think you'd find that there are a LOT of people in the rest of the country who really dislike the Northeast.
And as you've seen on this board, there's plenty of people who think the middle and bottom of the country are populated by inbred yokels. Maybe both sides need to see that there's room under the umbrella term of "American" for all kinds of people. Why am I the only one who needs to move? I'm American, too.

So in his thank you speech, do you think Bush will promise to make the world hate us even more?
Nah, it's too late for him to start telling the truth now.

Did I say that was my viewpoint? For cripes sake, I was pointing out the invalidity of that argument. Read my damn posts.
ETA: And I've never even lived in a major city. Sorry to break the stereotype.
