How ironic. One of the businesses that drove the rents up is now feeling its effects.
I'm surprised that some of these big chains don't buy the buildings they are in. Is it cheaper to rent when you are in the location for 20 years?

Posted: 3/19/15 at 2:35pmI went to Starbucks this morning and was upset that they didn't want to get into a heated discussion on race relations with me. I mean, I paid my $3 for my Venti coffee like everyone else. Am I not WHITE enough to be asked about my thoughts?!

Posted: 3/19/15 at 2:44pmOh, I wasn't sure. Since discussions about race relations with people you don't know usually are pretty casual.

HUH. Why would the present owners sell when that are basically milking a cash cow? ( and if SB goes, the owners might have to wait for a new tenant and take a tax write off to reduce other income, sooner or later SOMEbody will fill the space).
