I meant to post this three weeks ago.

Anyway, to make a long story short, allow me to summarize.

Leaving New York after a two week visit. Going by train from Penn Station. Get a text from broadwayguy2 cause we were supposed to meet earlier in the week but my schedule wouldn't allow it and I forgot to call him. I desperately text him to call me. He does. I'm in a cab. "CAN YOU MEET ME AT PENN STATION IN 5 MINUTES????" He said he would. I get out of the cab and we meet in person for the first time.

Let's shorten this even more...he helps me with my luggage inside Penn Station and he then helps me carry all my stuff to FedEx/Kinkos to be delivered. We also walked through midtown and chatted for a couple hours. This happened from about midnight through 5 or 6 am.

Anyway - THANKS BG2 for saving my ass!! By the way...my luggage ended up getting lost. Needless to say...I was pissed.

Also a shout out to all the BWWers I met while I was in the city...luvtheEmcee, ZONEACE, wildcat, and the six people throughout the week who spotted me in the city and PMed me to ask "was that you??"

And I think your name was Michael...but you worked in front of TKTS and spotted me. Hello to you, too!

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

The loneliness almost did him in Elphie.

He saved me from being mugged by those people who wait in front of Penn Station to help you with your luggage and then beat you with those long-stemmed roses and run off with your belongings. re: The story of how broadwayguy2 saved my life...

Besides...I'm straight.

Why wouldn't he be?

- Didn't he make one of those infamous farewell threads over a year back?

Did CapnHook just out himself?

Oh, honey, I wish it had only been one.

I think he meant it figuratively ...

I know, I got that. And I'm still saying I wish it had only been one, instead of "I'm leaving, bye." --> "I'm back!!" --> "no, wait, I'm leaving again!" etc.
