The city of New York is banning foie gras and also the sale of fur. This is an outrage. They’re doing this in the name of “animal welfare” and yet they let the horses die on the streets of Central Park. They let the Central Park zoo stand. They’re poisoning the rats on the streets. Make it make sense.

I’m upset about draconian and probably unconstitutional laws by the city that are stupid and hypocritical. What’s next, bans on meat? If they actually gave a damn, maybe they could practice what they preach and start with the animal cruelty happening in Central Park.

You act like there's not been pressure to do that...
You seem to leave out... why in particular there is an issue with Foie Gras... and it's that Ducks are being force fed with a metal rod shoved down their throats increasing the size of their livers almost 10 times?
Do you know what the words "Draconian" and "Unconstitutional" actually mean? Because it doesn't sound like it...

Yes I know they get the ducks fattened up by being forced fed corn. At the end of the day, it’s the circle of life. No worse than chopping a chickens head off for food.

So you're saying that the Horses should just drop dead in Central Park because nothing actually matters? Foie Gras is not the circle of the life, it's a flex for rich assholes.

They shouldn’t be banning foie gras or fur PERIOD. The animals were put on the planet for a reason. The Native Americans skinned animals for clothes and blankets and food and other uses, why can’t we??

Since you've gone back to your weird habit of sending harassing DMs, here's the most recent one and the ones you sent under your previous one over the last month...

Glad to see it. Hopefully the ban on carriage horses won't be far behind.
Also, to compare modern factory farming to the practices of Native Americans is a wild, and uninformed, take.

What is so wrong with using animals for fur and skin when we use them for food?

There was a time when using fur for clothes was the only option. Native Americans only killed what they needed and used the whole animal.
In modern times fur not being used out of neccessity. It's a luxury item used for status. That's gross.
