I hope this is what triggers the end for these people. I'm so pissed off that I could scream. I plan on being there, and if I have to wear a GIANT angel costume, I will.

I think, and it has taken a long time for me, that I am finally at the point where I honestly don't care about Westboro.

As their profile has been raised (their goal) they have become completely irrelevant. People here don't take them seriously (obviously) and perceive them as a misbehaved child throwing a tantrum.

Still, can't wait for Fred's funeral! It's going to be like a pride parade.

I'll bet Reg is correct. IF they show, they're going to be so isolated they may as well be in Siberia. No way can they manage to be the story on this one. This isn't some unknown soldier, or some mostly anonymous poor kid. It's La Liz. They'll pick another battle, because they'll just be too marginalized here. May it be forever so in the future.

i truly hope their presence amps up donations to BC/EFA and the other AIDS causes she championed...and then those totals are sent to their leadership and get the kind of press coverage their idiocy always does. If their ignorance can help raise money, what does La Lavendar Eyes give any White Diamonds about it?

I'm with JoeKv and canmark. I would be honored if the WBC folks decided I was sinful enough to warrant the picketing of my funeral. That it draws more attention to a worthy cause (in this Taylor's AIDS Foundation) is an added bonus.

Here's what I want to do: Start a pledge drive where folks can pledge a certain amount of money per WBC protestor and donate the money directly AIDS and LGBT causes. The more they protest, the more the we win.
