Posted: 1/27/11 at 12:18amAccording to this article, it seems the manager at this particular location was in charge of putting up the shield. It has since been removed per the companies request. Not sure if it was just to safe face, or if corporate thought the manager's move was idiotic but didn't know about the incident until it went viral.
